Nolan Put Official Kibosh on Ledger/DARK KNIGHT RISES RumorsJust in case there was any lingering doubt about the rumors that filmmaker Christopher Nolan would attempt to insert Heath Ledger into The Dark Knight Rises using cut footage and CGI, the woman behind man himself as put the final nail in that rumors coffin.
Although they don’t quote him directly, Heat Vision says that Nolan also denied the rumor, saying that Ledger’s performance as the Joker should be contained to the 2008 movie.
Zimmer to Score SUPERMANNBC San Diego’s Popcorn Biz blog reports that composer Hans Zimmer is on board to score Zack Snyder’s new Superman movie. The composer said he’s not intimidated by the task of following in the footsteps of legendary composer John Williams.
“It’s a hard one, but I followed one of the most iconic things on Batman with [Christopher Nolan] as well, and it’s the same thing. You are allowed to reinvent, but you have to try to be as good or at least as iconic and it has to resonate and it has Authentic Von Miller Jersey to become a part of the zeitgeist. That’s the job,” Zimmer said. “On Gladiator I remember people always talking about Spartacus and I kept telling them, ‘When you saw Spartacus and how it affected it you, that’s how I want a modern audience to be affected by what we do now.’ So I think ultimately you’re supposed to reinvent.”
Zimmer also said that he hasn’t officially been hired by his frequent collaborator Nolan to score The Dark Knight Rises but he’s meeting with the filmmaker on the movie next week.

SAN FRANCISCO LONDON December 2, 2010 Europe Ltd. and SEGA of America, Inc. today announced they have signed Chris Hemsworth to voice the title role and Tom Hiddleston to voice Loki in the upcoming action adventure Thor: God of Thunder. Both actors likenesses will also be used in the game, which is based on the legendary franchise from Marvel Entertainment, and marks Thor first standalone appearance in a video game.
“Bringing in Chris and Tom to star in Thor: God of Thunder gives us AAA talent that will create a truly cinematic interactive experience, said Von Miller Jersey Gary Knight, Senior Vice President of Marketing at SEGA Europe and SEGA of America. Thor and the trickster Loki will face off with real emotion while giving fans visual and vocal continuity between the video game and film adaptations of the Marvel franchise. In the game, Thor battles through the numerous worlds of Norse mythology to save Asgard. Players will wield the iconic Mj Thor legendary hammer, to fight enemies of an immense scale while controlling the elemental storm powers of lightning, thunder and wind to vanquish enemies. Thor must overcome monstrous foes lifted from the pages of the comics, including Ulik, Ymir and Surtur, as well as other daunting enemies.
Thor: God of Thunder is scheduled for release spring 2011 on all major video game platforms.
IRON MAN 3 Location ScoutedIt’ll be years before Iron Man 3 will go into production. Still the media representatives for the Experminetal Media and Performing Arts Center in Troy, NY has confirmed for All Over Albany that reps from Marvel have been eyeballing the modernisitic building as a possible location for the film.
EMPAC media rep Jason Steven Murphy told the site, “We can further confirm, as you have seen around the internet, that Marvel was given a tour some time back in regards to possibly using EMPAC as a Ryan Clady Jersey location for the Iron Man 3 shoot.”
The building has futuristic looking architecture so the exterior would be perfect for some kind of high tech Marvel Universe facility. And given that we know portions of The Avengers are filming in New York, we wonder if that’s not actually the movie being scouted. “It’s been a long road, and still more to go, but negotiations have officially begun,” Howard told his followers.
AQUAMAN Movie RumblingsThere have been plans for an Aquaman movie in some form or another for as long as C2F has been covering the biz. So Screenrant’s recent report that there may be an Sea King feature in the future isn’t surprising.
There source (said to be at Warner Bros) tells them plans are still afoot to bring forth an Aquaman movie, although the earliest it would surface would be 2013. The studio is said to be focused on The Dark Knight Rises, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern 2 (though it’s puzzling that Wonder Woman gets a mention as we now know that’s being developed for TV).
Most interesting is world that Leonardo DiCaprio’s production shingle Appian Way is on board as producers of the movie.
So, Aquaman may be on the way. Just don’t hold your breath waiting.
Depp Dreamcasts LONE RANGERWe’ve known for some time now that Johnny Depp will be playing Tonto in Disney’s Lone Ranger movie. And we learned recently that his Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski is poised to direct it. But who will play the iconic masked man in the piece?
Depp told ET Online that he has his favorites for the part.
“There’s so many interesting possibilities out there,” he tells ET. “Brad [Pitt] would be great. [George] Clooney would be great. Don’t know who it’s going to be just yet.”
The actor also said he hopes to do the story of Tonto justice.
“Native Americans in cinema, over the past however many decades, have been Womens Von Miller Jersey treated somewhat shabbily,” he told ET. “This one has plans to rectify that.”
We initially guffawed a the quote, as we largely think of Depp as a white actor. But ET points out that his grandfather is Cherokee so the man does have Native American heritage to draw on.
