A Study of Ultra-Wideband Antennas in Jammer Designs

 

The application of ultra-wideband antenna in Jammer design is a research direction that attracts much attention. Since the signal detector needs to transmit strong power signals in a wide bandwidth to interfere with the target system, the bandwidth, gain and power tolerance of its antenna have high requirements. Ultra-wideband antenna shows a broad application prospect in Jammer design with its unique advantages.

Ultra-wide bandwidth
Ultra-wideband antenna can effectively work in a wide frequency range of 3.1-10.6GHz, covering most of the wireless communication system working frequency band. This enables the Jammer to efficiently interfere with multiple target systems, increasing the range and flexibility of the antenna.

Good Gain Characteristics
Ultra-wideband antennas usually have relatively flat, uniform gain characteristics over a wide bandwidth, which ensures that the antenna can transmit high-power, high-gain jamming signals throughout the entire operating frequency band, improving the drone blocker‘s effective jamming distance and efficiency.

Compact and Miniaturized Design
Ultra-wideband antennas generally use unique microstrip plus impedance structure or other miniaturized design, with small size, light weight advantages, which is conducive to the military jammer system overall miniaturization and integration, enhance mobility and portability.
High power tolerance
Ultra-broadband antenna mostly adopts high power resistance, anti-ionizing radiation structure, such as the use of notch coupling, impedance conversion and other techniques to disperse the coupling energy, providing a good high power tolerance to meet the Jammer antenna’s high power output requirements.
Multi-array combination application
Multiple ultra-wideband antennas can be arrayed to form a larger aperture antenna array, improve the overall antenna gain and targeting accuracy, to achieve Jammer’s high directional and directional interference capabilities.

Application of new smart materials
Some new intelligent materials and structures such as liquid crystal can be used in the design of ultra-wideband smart antenna, so that the antenna band, gain and other parameters can be dynamically adjusted to enhance the adaptability of the system and the integration of multiple operating modes.
At present, the application of ultra-wideband antenna in blue tooth jammer design is still a developing field, and there are still some technical challenges such as impedance bandwidth matching, compact structure and so on, which need to be broken through. However, with the further development of related technologies and the emergence of more innovative applications, the ultra-wideband antenna will make an important contribution to the overall improvement of Jammer system performance.
