She’s a knockout! Creed star Tessa Thompson puts on a leggy display in thigh-high split gown as she joins Sylvester Stallone at London premiere
They’ve just celebrated a Golden Globe win for their movie at Sunday’s glittering ceremony in LA.
But there’s been no let-up on the promo trail for the Creed cast as Sylvester Stallone led the arrivals at the London premiere of the anticipated film on Tuesday night.
The movie legend walked the red carpet with leading lady Tessa Thompson, who wowed in a shimmering purple dress with a daring thigh-high split.
Tessa, 32, bought some glamour to Leicester Square with her gorgeous gown.
The metallic number in a purple-pink hue featured a bold check print, but it was the sky-high split that really commanded attention.
The actress, who also had a role in last year’s Oscar nominated Selma, showed off her long legs in the daring dress, while she added a pair of silver heels to the winning look.
Tessa swept her long locks to the side and finished her red carpet look off with a flawless face of makeup and hoop earrings.

Sylvester followed Tessa down the red carpet, with the Hollywood legend looking suave in a pin-stripe suit and navy tie as he waved to the crowds.
In the movie, Stallone reprises his role as Rocky Balboa who agrees to train Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan), the boxing son of his former rival and late friend Apollo Creed. Tessa plays Bianca, a singer and songwriter who enjoys a romance with Johnson.
On Sunday Stallone was named Best Supporting Actor for Creed at the Golden Globes, building the buzz around an expected Oscar nomination, when the nods are announced later this week.
In an emotional speech, the visibly shocked actor gushed: ‘I wanna thank Rocky, the best friend I ever had!’
However Stallone raised eyebrows by initially forgetting to mention black director Ryan Coogler or star Jordan – a situation he stopped the music to rectify.
‘You did it all, I just hung on for dear life,’ he told Coogler – but his words were not aired as the show had gone to commercial break.
‘I am the sum total of everyone I’ve ever met,’ the 69-year-old had gushed.
He then enthusiastically thanked a long list of those who helped him in his career, including his representatives and various producers.
But he saved his most touching words for his wife, Jennifer Flavin.
‘Having your love is the greatest award in the world every day,’ he told the 47-year-old.
However the apparent omission of Cooger and Jordan didn’t go unnoticed by fans, who tweeted their outrage.
Selma director Ava DuVernay responded by writing: ‘Well. I’m gonna go ahead and thank RYAN COOGLER + MICHAEL B. JORDAN since no one else is. Thank you, brothers. Good work. #smh #goldenglobes.’
And Samuel L Jackson agreed, writing: ‘#waitwaitwait, Ryan Coogler & Michael B Jordan, Thanks for acting with me!!! Loved Sly but…’
