As one of the country’s most treasured and patriotic opera singers, it comes as little surprise to hear that the Queen is a fan of opera singer Katherine Jenkins.
The 35-year-old talked about dining with Her Majesty a number of years ago while being interviewed on This Morning on Wednesday.
Arriving in the studio wearing a beautiful bright yellow form-fitting cocktail dresses which fell down past the knee, the Welsh beauty spoke about her nerves at dining with the Royal family.

After giggling, Katherine continued:’ After pudding, a finger bowl and some gauze arrived at the table and I didn’t know what to do.

After giggling, Katherine said:’ After pudding, a finger bowl and some gauze arrived at the table and I didn’t know what to do, so I watched what the Queen did and followed suit’
‘I just paused and watched what everyone else was doing. Luckily the Queen was so gracious and didn’t say anyhting.
‘It turns out you use the bowl to wash the fruit and the gauze to dry it. So I had a nectarine.’
Sitting on the famous daytime television sofa, Katherine looked incredible as she topped off her outfit with a pair of nude court shoes.

‘My daughter Aaliyah is going to be seven months old tomorrow and I’m loving it. She’s amazing and we’re thrilled to be parents.
‘I took seven months off work and I didn’t know how I was going to react [to becoming a mother].
‘But my mother was the breadwinner and she instilled a good work ethic in me and so it was important for me to do the same for my daughter.
‘I didn’t want her living in a house and knowing how it got here.’
