お呼ばれしたので急遽我が母校のテニスコートへ。
１年、２年、男子部、女子部が勢揃い。
綾高テニス部のコートはクレー２面と、冬に使わせて貰う昇降口前のアスファルト上のコート１面。
こんな大人数じゃ３面フル活用してようやく何とか打てるかどうかなので、最近では全員が集まるのは珍しい事となっている。
それから少し遅れて卒業した３年生が続々と合流。
男女全学年に加えて顧問の先生、コーチとＯＢも混ざり、４チームに別れてＤ５本の団体戦、綾瀬高校38期生テニス部の送別会が開催されました。
大学のテニサー風に言えば追い出しコンパ。
自分の知る限り、綾高テニス部でこんな風に卒業生を送り出すのは初めて見る光景。
去年は卒業式後に集まったと聞きましたが、今年は皆がコートに大集合。
引退後は各々の進路に備えていた３年生対、この前の冬の地区大会で男女ともに本戦出場を果たした現役の生徒達・・・と言いたいところだが、彼らも流石に試験明けでは怪しいプレーがちらほら(笑)
後輩から先輩に色紙と花が贈られ、最後に全員で記念撮影。
もはや多過ぎだよね部員。
お前らどんだけテニスが好きなんだ。
はたしてこれは錦織ブームのおかげなのかな？
彼らは綾高でテニス部を選んでくれて、こんなにも多くの部員達が今日という日に来てくれた。
これから先も綾高テニス部の一員であった事に胸を張ってほしい。
楽しむ事も勝つ事も仲間がいてこその事。
こんなにもいてくれる後輩達の良い手本になれるようこれからも頑張ってこう。
