憧れを抱きテニスショップとスクールのアルバイトした大学時代も今や昔の話。

自分がテニスに携わったのは大学時代の４年、テニスを生業とするプロフェッショナルの方々と比較すると本当に僅かな時間の経験しか持ち合わせていませんが、無い頭振り絞ってお役に立てるレビューができるよう精進します。
ウィニングショットはテニスサポートセンター様の会社が立ち上げたブランドで、店舗またはネット通販で現在購入可能です。
テニス雑誌を買っている方は広告や製品カタログで見た事があるかと思います。
自分がウィニングショットの製品を初めて使ったのは大学生の時でグリップテープのタフドライ。
トーナを使っているとどうしても耐久性が気になってしまうので一時期ドライグリップを色々探し回っていましたが、他のどの大手メーカーと比べてもタフドライがかなりトーナに近い上に全体的に性能が上、肝心の耐久性も凄く良くて感嘆した記憶があります。
(手触りのチープ感（？）がなんとなく好きで結局今のところはトーナを使っていますが)
ウィニングショットはグリップテープ、ストリング共に全て日本製と言うのも好印象。
海外のOEMではなく日本で作るってなるとコストが高くなりそうですが「とことん、こだわる」というコンセプト通り、本気の一品達という事ですね。
更に日本国内に留まらず、今年からはアルマグロ選手がタフドライの使用契約を結んでおりブランドとしての勢いも増してきている様子。
日本人のプロでは秦野出身の榊原プロや、全日本に出た西脇プロ、本村剛一プロらが契約。
テスターの方も元日本ランカー、全日本出場経験者、マスターラケットテクニシャンと言ったまさにプロ中のプロ、錚々たるメンバーがズラリ・・・こ、この一員に入るの・・・！？ほんっと気合入れていきます！！
そんな本気の製品を並べるブランドであるウィニングショット、メビウスシリーズやタフドライの他にもスピン系ポリのボルトシリーズ、超の冠を付けたウェットタイプのグリップテープといった強力な個性の製品を売り出しています。
今月には中の繊維の数に拘ったマルチフィラメントストリング、ブラックスパイダーが発売。
更には現在新しいストリングを開発中との事ですが、普通はテニスのメーカーに依頼するであろうところを釣り糸のメーカーに製造してもらうという拘りぶり。
