僕の今日のお昼ご飯。ラーメン大山家。
ラーメンは家系しか最近は食べていないのですが、食べいているといつも終盤が味がくどくて苦しくなります。でも食べちゃう。
すなわち、僕がラーメン食べる時はいつもフードファイトです。
でも今日食べたとき卵ラーメンは味がマイルドですんなり食べる事ができました。
腹ごしらえをして目的地へ向かう。
初めて来た昭島駅、駅を出るとすぐ巨大なモールに迷い込んでしまい、中をうろうろしながら進むとお洒落な銀杏並木を発見。
まさかこの先にあるとは・・・。
昭和の森テニスセンター。
よく大会をやっていて有名な所ですね。
そう言えば弟も試合で来た事があるはず。
なんでもかんでも先を行かれているなぁ・・・。
という事で今日はスマッシュでの連載２０周年記念の鈴木貴男プロテニスクリニックに参加してきました。
って、まさか日本のエースとテニスができるなんて・・・いくらなんでもおかしくない！？いいの！？俺が会えちゃって！？
坂井プロに会えて、鈴木プロに会えてって、ちょっと恵まれ過ぎにも程がありませんか俺。
お昼にバーベキューの部があり、午後からレッスンという一日中貴男尽くしというスケジュール。
超絶イキリオタク陰キャの僕はＢＢＱ参加しませんでした。
更にレッスンを手伝うのは早稲田大学テニス部の選手。
貴男さん曰く「日本一のテニス部を球拾いに使うレッスン」、いや、マジでこんなレッスンに参加できるなんて。
貴男さん自身はこの前の全日本で肋骨を骨折してしまった為プレーは控え、早稲田の選手の皆さんが球出し、ラリーを行ってくださいました。ふぅぅぅぅぅぅぅ！ 
でも結局貴男さんも球出しして最終的にラリーまでやっちゃってました。
「病み上がりだから思いっきり打ってこないでくださいね」とは言っていたものの、試合でお馴染みのバックハンドスライスがベースラインに突き刺さってきてマトモに打ち返せない。えげつない・・・。
これがフェデラー、ヒューイットらと戦ったスライスですよ。
こんなスライスばっかり打ってこられたら無理やわんもぅ。
そして貴男さんはとにかく喋る。
最初から最後まで喋りっ放し。
これには面喰らうというか、危うく大事なところを聞き逃してしまいそうなくらい自然な語り。
youtubeに上がっている動画も多くてどこでも喋りまくってるなって印象ですが、生貴男はまさに動画のまんまでした。
だからトッププロが目の前にいるにも関わらずどこか馴染み深かったのか。
試合の時もセルフトークが非常に多いですけどそのイメージも生で話している姿と全く同じに感じる。
試合でも動画でも生でも等身大の鈴木貴男が常にそこにいたのです。
今日はトッププロを知る事ができた、とても貴重な時間でした。
