薄いVIと厚いVI-Rを打ったものの、平均速度がどっちも125km/h。
スピン量にいたってはVIの方が100RPMぐらい多い。
前回の時もＳマッハ３００ｇは速度もスピン量も僅差ですが薄ラケ達に負けていました。
じゃあ厚ラケのメリットなんやねん・・・フレームが厚いのなら速度もスピン量も勝っていて欲しいところ。
Ｓマッハ３本いっちゃったけどこれじゃあ前回の結果でファントム100XR買うのが一番良い数値出せるじゃんって話になっちゃいますね。
正面と横どちらも薄くて、100インチ16×18の箱型で、元が290～280gの重さで元グリレザーと長ラケにする余裕のあるラケット・・・無いものねだりですね。
それかこの冬は真面目にトレーニングルーム通って222Pを解禁するかね。そうするべきかね。
まあそんな事言っちゃうとＳマッハがかわいそうなので良い部分を探すとなると、トラックマンの数値で目につくのがベースラインという項目。
打球の着弾点がベースラインからどれくらいの距離かって値で、Ｓマッハは平均0.3S、ＶＲは平均0.4S、ＶＲ－Ｉは2.1Lという結果でした。
詳細は聞いてませんでしたが、雰囲気からしてSはショートでLでロングでしょうかね。
って、ＶＲ－Ｉめっちゃアウトやんけ。
Ｓマッハは厚ラケでポリ、ＶＲは薄ラケでマルチ。
値は殆ど差がありませんが、ＶＲが反発力のあるマルチからポリになったらより飛距離が短くなりそう。
そういう面で見ると同じ速度でもフレームが厚い方が飛距離が出てくれる。って、それが厚ラケの基本的な性能ですね。
ともかく、速さは同じでもＳマッハの方が飛びが良いのでまあ甘い球にはなり難いでしょうってメリットが証明されました。良かった良かった。
それにしてもポリとマルチなのにスピードに差が出ていないのは気になるところ。
ポリの方が威力が凄い気がしますが・・・回転がかかるから凄い気がするのかな。
あと厚ラケの良い点を探し出すとしてもう一つ、エイペックスとエイペックスレンジという項目がありました。
ボールの軌道の頂点がエイペックスという項目に現れ、エイペックスレンジは打った場所から頂点までの距離になります。
頂点への距離が遠い程、ボールがキレ良く落ちる、エッグして相手が食い込まれるよって事ですね。
Ｓマッハがエイペックス1.74m、レンジが11.09m。
ＶＲは1.62m、レンジ10.98m、ＶＲ－Ｉは1.87m、12.77mという結果。
一番弾道が高く、頂点が遠いのがＶＲ－Ｉですが、ベースラインの項目が2.1Lでスピン量も一番低かった、となるとつまり落ちる以前にアウトばっかじゃんって事。
11.09mも10.98mも大体ネットの手前ぐらい、そっからボールが落ちていく・・・今回はやや低めの打点から低い弾道で打球したのですが、これが高めに打つとまた違ったデータになるのだと思う。
頂点の高さは割と佐賀で手Ｓマッハの方が上、弾道が上がりやすいという事に・・・いや、高さが10cmの差ってこれまた微妙？
また、アングルという項目では打球の角度になるのですが、Ｓマッハ9.7Uに対してＶＲは8.9U、ＶＲ－Ｉが10.1Ｕ。
値が大きい程打ち出し角度が高いという事になるが、低いとボールがあまり暴れない、というメリットにも繋がると思う。
流石にここではボックスフレームの方が打ち出し角度は低め。
そしてトラックマンではパソコン上でボールの高さや左右の分布図をを円状で表示する事ができる。
今回のトラックマンでは１本のラケットにつき８球を同じ方向へ打った為、それでボールのばらつきを見る事ができる。
そこでもやはりというか、Ｓマッハと比べるとＶＲの方がボールのばらつきが少なく、打球範囲の円も小さく、コントロール性能の高さを感じさせる。
ガットがマルチにも関わらずよく集まるものだ。
ここまでのデータを踏まえると薄いボックスは打球の安定感と速度とスピン、厚ラケは飛距離で勝る。ボックスの方が普通にメリットが多い(笑)
まあでも、Ｓマッハの良い所は手を加える余裕のある重量と、自分の感覚的に厚さの割にあまり飛び過ぎずコントロール性があるバランスってところだから・・・
２回も受けちゃったけどやはりトラックマンは凄い。魅力が沢山詰まっている。
速度やスピンといった分かり易い指標以外の事もしっかり見てくれているのだから、フォアハンドの試打以外の方法でも使いたくなる。使えないけど。
トラックマンを使って何かをしているのってブリヂストン、ウィルソン、ウィンザーぐらいしか聞かないのでどこかテニススクールが導入したら一気に覇権とれるんじゃないでしょうかね。
スマートテニスセンサーを導入したというスクールも少し前に聞いたのですが、はたしてどれ程の人気が出ているのだろうか。
データを計測して見てくれるのであれば見てほしいですよね。凄い強みです。
