先月、大会で負けて気分はダウン。
市民大会で勝つのは無理だろうなと落ち込んでましたが、何気なくアエロを買ったら大はまり。
いつもよりボールが入り、走り、曲がり、陳腐な球打ちがようやくテニスの体を成し始めてきた。
一ヶ月も経ってないが、もしやこれは次の市民大会こそは入賞いけるのでは・・・
自信も沸いてきたし２本目も購入。

大会に向けてアエロで好調の最中、まさかの刺客。
そう言えば応募してたわ・・・
先月大会で負けて、もう下手糞の癖にプロストックなんて使うの恥ずかしいわって事でアエロ買った訳だけど、そうです、こっちも応募してたのでした。
スピードの時もそうですが相変わらず大胆にラケットモニター企画を出してくれますねヘッドさんは。
まあこういうのが当たるなんてビックリで驚いたのですが、応募する時に「HEADへの熱きコメントを」！ってあったじゃないですか。
と言っても僕はHEADのラケットを１本たりとも買った事すら無いので熱い思いがあるのかすこぶる怪しいところですが、
まあ落ち込んでいたので勢いで「当たったら新時代フォースで大会に出ます！」なんて書いて送ってました。
アエロで出る気満々だったのに宣言しちゃってたよ！
大会は来週だから新時代フォースで練習できるの２、３回ぐらいしかないよ！？

スペック分からない、と思ってもこのご時勢ですから色んな憶測が飛び交ってますが、世俗に疎い僕はこのラケットは何が強みなんだ？とかまだ把握できてない。
とりあえず分かるのは公式サイトに書いてあった３Ｄ軌道を実現するラケットって事と、ラケットにデカデカと書いてある「MASSIVE SWEET SPOT DOMINATES THE GAME」、これが新時代フォースの１番のウリって事でしょうけど。
最近プロトタイプはともかく市販品すら黒塗り一辺倒でもう飽き飽き、主張すべきものすら感じられないところですが、今回のヘッドはトップ部にデカデカとメッセージを入れていて良いと思います。
でもでっかいスイートスポットって、この前のウルトラツアー95の時も思ったんですけど、そんなに大きければ良いのならO3で良いじゃんってよく思います。
それでＯ３が出てくると、結構みんな打球感がボヤけるのが嫌って言いますよね。
もう少し主張小さいけどフェイス全面をカバーするバボラのウーファーも、中にはノンウーファーを選択するプロがいたとかいう噂もありますし、スイートスポットを広げるって結構好き嫌いが出てくるんだと思います。
スイートスポットを広げる手法はプリンスはＯ３のようにストリングホール、バボラはグロメット、ヨネックスならフレーム形状、大体この３つか。
では新時代フォースはと言うと、パッと見ではそんな特徴的な形をしてるようには見えない。
しかしちょっとだけの小細工で新時代なんて名乗れるだろうか。
世界を挑発して新たな伝説を作り出す、となるとやはり素材面で何か凄い物が・・・？
流行をろくに追いかけてないのでヘッドの標準装備のグラフィン３６０もどういうものかよく分かっていませんが・・・最近のラインナップは前作より柔らかくなってる、って認識で合ってるのかな。
それに何か新素材がプラスされるのだろうか、それとも俺がフレームの仕組みを見破れていない・・・？
クラッシュなんかはダズル迷彩でもシャフトが特徴的で、手で曲がるほど柔らかい、でもシャフトはウルトラでは安定性の為では・・・？なんて想像の余地があったけど。
という事でストリンギングも特に難なく完了。
ふと思ったけど、スペック公開されてないラケットっプロは張る時どうしてるんだろうか・・・やっぱり勘しかないのかな。
なんて張ってたらこのプロトタイプにはちゃんとガイドが書いてあった。
むしろ前に使ってたプロストックは真っ黒で書いてなかったな・・・。
とりあえずストリンギングまでで新時代フォースのトリックは暴けず。
