という事で初使用、MP５２ポンド、S４８ポンドで打ちました。
市民大会はMPで出るつもりなのでEXO3グラファイト、ピュエロと同じテンション。
試合で使うとは言ったもののどういうラケットかは謎。
見た目だけで判断するとコントロール重視っぽい。
まあ僕グラファイト使ってたし、それに使い難いラケットなんてそうそう無いだろうと思ってます。
最近打ったダンロップのＶとＸ、ウィルソンのクラッシュとウルトラ、どれも良い感じのラケットだったし。
メーカーの宣伝文句で分かるヒントは「大きいスイートスポット」、「３Ｄ軌道」。
予想だとやっぱりスピードに近かったり、ブレードっぽかったり、ピュアストライクっぽかったりで、それにプラスでスイートスポットとスピン性能がウリか。
張っていたら他のラケットよりも変形するっぽくて、フレームも柔らかいのでは？と思ったりもした。
が、いざ打ってみると第一印象は硬い。
１つはフレームによる弾き感による硬質さか、でも予想外にもガットも硬い。
普段がＯ３だから普通のラケットの感覚がかなり硬く感じる・・・のは分かっていたのですが、こんなに変わるもんだっけ？
いや、最近はエスマッハツアーやプロゾーン２、ピュアアエロも５２ポンドで使ったし・・・
なのに打球感はまるでピュアアエロのような硬さ。
しかもピュアアエロならボールを吹っ飛ぶが、新時代フォースは飛ばない。
細身のフレームなら弾く打球感と共にしなりもあるもんだと思っていたけど・・・硬さが気になって感じ難い。
ただ、硬く感じたけど衝撃はあまり感じない。
ピュアアエロは腕壊すんじゃないの・・・？って思ったけど新時代フォースはそんな気がしない。
このラケットに限った話じゃなくグラフィンによる効果だろうか。
しっかりしている感じがする。フレームは打ち負け難いけど僕の腕が打ち負ける（笑）
その後MPを４８ポンドに張り直して使ってみると、ガットの硬さこそ緩和されたもののフレームはやっぱりフィーリングが硬めだと思った。
それとも直前までフレームの厚いピュアアエロの硬さでボールを弾く打ち方をしていたから、薄いラケットを撓らせられなかったか・・・
硬いと感じたと同時にスイートスポットもそこまで広いようには思えず。
ウーファー、Ｏ３と言ったハッキリとしたモノではないが、普通のと比べて少しは広い（縦め？）スポットがあるみたいで、そこに当たればガットがいつもよりも動いて、ノビとスピンが出る。
でもそこまで広くないかなというのと、スイートスポットより硬さ、弾きの方が主張強い気がする。
薄ラケを撓らせて打てるハードヒッターならもっと分かるのかも？
スピン性能も・・・どうだろう？
芯に当てた時は確かに良い、が、勝手にかかるというレベルでは無い。
フレームの見た目的に勝手にスピンかかるラケットだったら困る人も多いか。
ピュアアエロだったらフラット打ちの僕ですら勝手にかかるんですが・・・比較できるタイプじゃないか。
とはいえ、上手く打てた時の打球はまるで空中で一瞬静止し、そこからクッと落ちる印象。
ちょっと自分のスイングが弱弱しいのか？いや、スピンがキレてるって事かな。
スピンと同様反発力もちゃんと打たないと飛ばないと思う。
うーん、何だか色々な面で自分のパワー不足な感じがするけど、薄くてボックス形状のプロゾーン２でももっと飛ぶイメージ。
Sなら多少はボールが飛ぶようになってるけど、フレームの弾きの早さが細身のフレームのしなり、スイートスポットやスピン性能を薄くしているようで、ちょっと中途半端に思えた。
ヘッドって厚いインスティンクトから本格派向けのプレステージにまで幅広くＳタイプを用意している。
今までの傾向を見るとＳタイプは軽くなっただけでなく厚みが増したりフェイスが大きくなったりしている。
って、今見てみたら最新のプレステージはＳが無いんですね。
Ｓ使ってた関口プロは今何を使ってるんだろ。
ともかく、本流のラケットに対してＳタイプは分厚く軽く、飛び重視になるように見受けられる。
新時代フォースのSもそういうスペックだとしたら、コントロール重視だけど厚い、少し大きい・・・それだったらスピードやラジカルでも良いのでは・・・なんて思ったりもする。
競技者向けにしてはちょっとコントロールも飛びも中途半端かも。
新時代フォースは飛びがシビア、しっかりしたブレないフレーム、となるとまあコントロール系のラケットのはず。
モニター企画が１０代～３０代限定だったのも納得いくところ。
何だかんだでベテランでも薄いラケットガンガン振り回している方も大勢いると思いますが・・・。
でもヘッドにおけるコントロール系のラケットはプレステージ、スピード。
この２本に加わるタイプとは思いますが、ボックスのプレステージ、ラウンドのスピード・・・更に加えるとしたらちょっと差が弱い？ニッチかも・・・？
大きいスイートスポット、3D軌道といった武器、現時点ではまだ自分では新時代フォースの性能を引き出せていないような気がします・・・。
