デビルスピン張ったばかりなのに・・・トアルソンのポリグランデ・プロフォーカスを張ってしまいました。
だって、海外の選手にも使ってもらえるように今回ポリグランデシリーズを作ったそうじゃないですか。
ルキシロンのアルパワーや４Ｇ、バボラのＲＰＭブラストばかりが有名かつ人気だけど、そんな中に日本製ストリングが喰い込んで、まずは日本で上級者に愛されるモデルになって、ゆくゆくは日本のプロ選手達が挙って日本製ストリングを武器に世界と戦って、世界のトップ選手にも使ってもらえるようになる・・・そんな野望が秘められていそうな今回のトアルソンの新作に惹かれたのです。
例によって縦は皆大好きデビルスピン、プロフォーカスは横のハイブリッド。
それぞれ色はブルーとネイビーだけれども張ってみると両方とも同じ感じに。
感想聞いている限りでは結構シビアでガチなイメージを持っていたけど、フォーカスってコントロール重視の名前とは裏腹にボールはグーンと伸びて楽。
ポリグランデのキャッチコピーが「飛んで落ちるポリエステル」だからその通りだけれども、ボールが飛んで、スピンがかかって、ボールを受けて撓むホールド感があって、コントロールどころか他の能力も高い万能タイプという印象を受けました。
ただ、テンションの方は一日で緩んでスピン性能とホールド感が落ちた気がします。
縦横ハイブリッドだから仕方ないのだろうけど。
ホールド感はストリングが撓む範囲が増えてボールをピンポイントに受け止めてくれなくなったような感触。
張ってる時は凄く伸びていたので、プレストレッチかけといた方か良いのかな。
あまり張った事は無いけどこの伸び方はブラックヴェノムが似てたかも。
あと表面がつるつる？すべすべ？なんか不気味（！？）な手触りで、張りがスムーズに行きましたが、この感触はスナップバックにも一役買っているように思えます。
自分は硬い打球感の方が好きなのでファイヤーストーム、４Ｇラフとか柔らかいタイプは手応えが薄くて嫌だったのですが、ボールは伸びてくれて楽できるのでしばらくはこれで頑張っていこうと思います。
テストしたプロからの評判が良いと聞いていたからシビアだろうと思ったら、アルパワー、４Ｇ、ＲＰＭブラストとかより柔らかくて楽。
コントロール型にしては頑張らなくてもボールが伸びる不思議なこのポリ、攻撃力は高くなりそうだけどこれからどんな評価を受けていくのでしょう。
