HDアスタポリが出た時にプロフォーカスと青色被ってるじゃんと思いましたが、並べてみたら案外差が出てました。
エッグパワーやビーストXPが世に出た頃、当時はその色が独特で目立った存在だったと思います。
目立つ色にする事で、そのガットを使っていたら一目で分かるようにする。
コートで注目を集めて更に多くの人に興味を持って貰う、なんて意味もあるって聞いた事がある気がします。
すなわち派手な色というのはそのガットのテーマカラーなのではないかなと。
一方トアルソンのストリングはどの種類も色の展開がかなり多い。
プロフォーカスもアスタポリも青と黒(気味の)があって、一体どっちがテーマカラーなのかよく分からない、というかどっちの色もモロ被り。
ラケットとの相性が悪そうな色よりかは黒色の方が多くの人に使ってもらえそうではありますが、最近の例で言えばハイパーＧ、あんな色をプロ選手が使っていたらインパクトがあって興味を惹くと思います。
しかしトアルソンって全体的に青いロゴ使っているので、やはりアスタポリもプロフォーカスも青色がテーマカラーか。
アスタポリはメタリックで、プロフォーカスはちょっとヌメッとした水色気味の青。
微妙な差だけどちゃんと差異をつけているんだなと思いました。
