野次馬根性と言うかなんと言うか、宮ヶ瀬に行ってきました。
水位が下がって沈んでいた道路が見れるって事で、結構多くの人が集まっていた。
海底に沈んだ村ってやっぱ皆ロマンを感じるんでしょうね。
宮ヶ瀬ダムは昔から何度も訪れている僕ですが、こうして沈んでいた道路を見るのは初めて。
親に車で連れて行ってもらったり、皆で自転車で行ってみたり、原付初めて買った時もとりあえず目指したのが宮ヶ瀬。
海老名市民にとって宮ヶ瀬は最も身近なダム。
そもそも海老名には昔ダムに沈んだ村から移住してきて出来た地域があり、そういう面でも宮ヶ瀬ダムと海老名は深い縁が・・・って思ってたら、友人に確認したら移住してきたのは宮ヶ瀬じゃなくて相模湖からでした。
おかしいな、小さい頃から聞いていた話だったはずなんだけどどこで記憶がすり替わってしまったんだろう。
ダムへ続く道への入り口。
詳しい事は知らないけどさっきの下の道へ続く旧道らしい。
何の看板も無く簡素に封鎖された道、今後も使われる事は無いんだろうな。
今回の水位の低下の件で結構出回っていた道路と標識。
沈んだ村の遺物ではありますが、この部分の道路はダム工事の時に作られた物らしい。
村らしさで言えばさっきの旧道の方が残っていると言えるのだろうか。
標識の反対側にははっきりと道路が見える。
それもはっきりと３０ｋｍ／ｈの制限速度付き。
ずっと昔から沈んでいただろうに意外にもあんなにもはっきりと残っている。
おかしいなと思って調べてみると宮ヶ瀬ダムは水を初めて溜めた(試験湛水)のが1995年、ダム完成が2000年、今更知ったのですが思った以上に新しいダム、20年とちょっとなら残っていても不思議じゃないのかな？
ちょっと自分のイメージが”大昔に海老名に移転”で固定されていたせいか、宮ヶ瀬ダムが出来たのがたった17年前だったのは衝撃でした。
村の建物が見える・・・なんて状態だったら神奈川の危機になりますが、普段では立ち入る事も目にする事も出来ない不可侵な場所、ただ道路が少し見えてくるだけでも心が惹きつけられる。
こういう冒険もいいよね。
