昨日もテニス。
先輩を草大会優勝に導いたベルちゃん。
凄いねこのラケット、PT57A ＜ H19 ＜ベルちゃんの順で好き。
トップはTX220P CBですけどそれに匹敵するエネルギッシュな打球感。
こりゃ先輩が最高のラケットと評するのも納得の素晴らしいラケットだ。
でも手で持った時点でズッシリとした重さ。これは重過ぎる。
このフレームのサイドの錘の貼り方、前に雑誌で載ってたの読んだ事あるぞ。
グリップにもリードテープ巻いていて、更にレザーなのか手触りが硬いのでますますハードなイメージを与える。
何で一人だけハンデ背負ってやってたんですか？先輩！先輩！！！
今日もテニス。
ここ最近の休日全部テニスだったけどようやく打ち納め。
来年は４日に大会なので、それに備えてシューズを新調・・・MC906からMC100へ。
実戦前の練習が１回だけなのに種類変えてしまった。
最近物買い過ぎだな・・・使う機会少ないのに。
MC906は2代目から軽さと頑丈さのバランスが良いですし2018年モデルも緑色が格好良いと思ったんですけど、やっぱり強い相手と対等にテニスする為には無駄な負担を減らさないと。
って事でニューバランスの軽量型のMC100。これで80gの軽量化。
消耗抑えるの最優先で他の要素は全部取っ払っちまえ！
正直横ブレとか強度が不安なところだけど思った程は悪くない。
で、強敵対策のMC100を弟相手に試す。
サーブ練習やりたがる弟に１セットねだって3-5で時間切れ。
まあ、何とか１ブレイクだけで留めたのでよく粘れてる方か・・・？
自分のキープしたサービスゲームはどれもデュースまで縺れ込んでるのが、MC100のコートカバー力に救われたか、自分のボールに隙が多過ぎるのか。
一方でこちらのブレイクはゼロ。リターンゲームはとんとん拍子。
ここ最近の傾向からファーストサーブのフォルトとリターンの１発ミスが非常に多い自分・・・ってサービスもリターンもダメなのかよ。
いつものようにリターンを１球でアウト。ブロックするようにしてるけど面を合わせられず飛んでいく。
速いファーストも曲がるセカンドもまともに打ち返せない。
弟のセカンドを一球目から体で受けてしまったし。
それぐらいレベル差がある訳ですが3-5は、言われてみると悪くないような・・・いや弟に遅れをとっている時点でNoや。
いつもの如く相手のペースに追いつけない、端から受身の姿勢。
これでは来年もJTAランカーやベテランJOPランカー相手に何も出来ない。
今年は戦う機会を結構貰えたが、JTAランカーが相手では１ゲームも取れず。
ベテランジョッパーにはいいように往なされて攻撃の手段を封じられ、雀の涙程しか点を貰えなかった。
これじゃテニスにならない。
でも試合で勝ちたいって思うならこういうレベルに追随できないと。
来年一発目の大会は初戦からベテランジョッパーらしいので、こっちの攻撃が殆ど効かない弟が最後の練習相手なのは助かるけど、ランカー相手への勝利の糸口が全く掴めないな・・・。
来年はこういうレベルにせめて一泡でも吹かせてやらなければ、地元の市民大会優勝なんていつまで経っても夢のまた夢だろうと思う。
草大会での人生初めての優勝と昨年の市ベスト８で燃え尽きてしまったか、今年はあまりピリッとしなかった。
もっとアンテナの感度高く、もっと能動的にテニスしていかないとね。
