いざレザーグリップにしたいなと試し始めたは良いものの、実は既にシンセティックのレザーをまずは4つ注文しちゃっている。
プロゾーンは新品中古問わず買い漁ったので元グリが絶賛バラバラ中なのだ。
購入時点では軽さを求めてシンセティックだろうなと思っていたのですが、ここに来てレザーが恋しくなってしまった、そして310gぐらいなら使えるだろとどんどんレザーに気持ちが傾いていく。遅い。
それでレザーにするならやっぱフェアウェイ！最高のラケットには最高のグリップを、、、くくく、見栄を張るぜ！
って考えていたのですが、ちょっと調べてみるとウィルソンのレザーが1.7mmもあるらしいじゃないですか。
どうりでなんかごっついような気がした訳だ。
レザーは基本的にシンセティックよりも薄い。
昔もなるべく太いレザーが欲しいと思って各メーカーの厚みを調べようとしたが全然見つけられなかった記憶がある。
でも最近はレザーの厚み載せてるメーカーが増えている？ような？
あ、でもまさかウィルソンは昔からウェブマガジンで載ってたり・・・？
ともかく厚いものがあるとなると是非使いたい。
でもこのプロゾーン・ウィルソンレザー装備、力強く打ち込める感覚は嬉しいけど想像よりゴツいのがちょっと不安になってくる。
例えちょっと薄くてもレザーなら自分の求める硬さがあるのではないか。
細いのは嫌だけど操作性だって欲しいのだ。
今の装備はもうちょっと使い込まないとまだ断言できないが、嫌な予感がする。
あと個人的にはグリップとかラケットとかガットとからメーカーは統一させたいという謎のこだわり・・・
フェアウェイならレザーの名品故にどんなメーカーのラケットにも合いそうですけど、トアルソンのラケットに他メーカーのウィルソンのグリップって、なんか節操無いように感じません？

いやはや、前にヘッドにプロストックのレザーがあるって聞いたことがあった気がしたので、せっかくなのでこれ良いのでは？どこかで買えないかな～
なんて思って素人にできる範囲でググってみるも見つからずガックシ。
が、英語できない僕にはよくわからないのですが、どうやらその例のヘッドのレザー作っていた人達が別のブランド名で作ったレザーがあるっぽい？
