どうせ今年もBIG4が君臨すると僕は思ってましたが、それどころか一つの時代が終わってしまいそうですねぇ・・・。
まさに僕らの青春が終わってしまう・・・というかBIG4時代が長過ぎて殆どの人が愛着あるんでしょうね。
まさかマレーが引退の可能性だなんて・・・って年齢考えたらそりゃそろそろでしょって話ですけど、今更どんなミラクルな成績出しても可能性無くは無い人達だし・・・。
このままではBIG4を生で一度も見る事無く引退されてしまう・・・
その一方で今活躍中の若手は何だかんだで日本で見る事ができて運が良かった。
チチパス、ティアフォー、メドベージェフ。
シャポバロフも・・・２年前の楽天でボレー練習だけ少し見れた。
でもまさか今こんな大活躍だなんて、あっという間というか、勢いが凄過ぎてビックリ。
昨年見る事ができたメドベージェフ、楽天の予選での守屋選手との試合でしたが、まさか楽天優勝するなんて僕は思ってませんでした・・・超節穴。
あまり派手な攻めは見られなかったし、フォアハンドのフォームはちょっとコンパクトじゃないな・・・なんて、錦織選手にガンガン攻められたら試合展開の速さについて来れないんじゃないの？なんて思ってたら全然そんな事無かった。
チチパス、ティアフォーは２年前に見る事ができました。
チチパスは伊藤選手との予選・・・格好良い活きの良い若手だな～って反面、試合はベースラインでの打ち合いばかり、その頃に出るか出ないかで超話題になってたシャポバロフと比べるとアクティブさが無くてどうかなと・・・
今ではチチパスの方がランキングもツアータイトルもあるとは・・・
あとティアフォーも、上杉選手との予選だったけどプレースタイルが好きなのは日本人贔屓差し引いても断然上杉選手の方でした僕。
がたい良いけどパワーヒッターじゃない、コースを突くタイプ？
フォアハンドのフォームを何と言えばいいか・・・若干グルビス？吉備選手？
テイクバックをストレートに引いている？って言うのか。
ティアフォーのプレーは底が見えなかったというか、ドカーン！ってのが中々来なくて分かり辛い・・・？サーブはみんなドカンってしてるけど。
予選じゃギア上げないって事なのか。
そんな事思ってたら皆大活躍。
僕はBIG4の次を担う選手はキリオスに違いないって２０１６年の楽天見て確信してたんですけど、気付けばトップ１０入りとかグランドスラムベスト４がまだ遠い。そんな馬鹿な。
あの創造的で、迫力あるショットが飛び出すワンダフルなテニス、フェデラー相手に一歩も引かず戦える数少ない選手・・・って認識で間違ってないですよね？
僕が凄いっ！って思った選手が中々勝ち上がらない・・・というか僕が好きになる理由が攻撃的ってばかり。
テニスとは見た目の派手さより我慢のスポーツか。
いやはや、やべーテンポの打ち合い。
こんなスピードのテニス、生で見たら失神しちゃうよ僕。
