前回のブログで特に説明無かったけど、フェイスの９時３時に貼ってるヤツ。
ラケットマイスターで販売しているFLAXです。
本来はグリップ部に貼り付けるのが正しい使い方ですが、フレームに貼っても効果あるって聞いたので。
僕のラケットは自分の思うままに決めたスペックですけど、いざ使ってみるとリターンの時、相手のサーブが強い時にフレームの安定感が気になりまして。
RA値60のラウンド形状、かつ24mmという絶妙な厚さがブレを生んでいるのか。
これが薄いボックスフレームだったらRA値60だとしてもしっかり打てそうなイメージですが。
なのでより理想に近付くべく、ポルトガルと日本それぞれの革命児達を合体！
そしてその感想は・・・うーん？
雑味は少し減った気がする。
けど、効果絶大かと言われるとそこまで大きな変化は感じない。
だってグリップに仕込むのが正攻法だもんね。
振動止めのある無しよりも変化が少ないので違和感はとても少ない。
グリップに仕込む、ガットに挟み込む、のと比べると、手への振動の減衰の仕方は異なってくるのかな。
個人的には面の安定性が心なしか上がった気もするし、しない気もするなら貼っていて良いよねって事で継続使用中。
FLAXは新しいピュアアエロに同じ感じでフェイスのサイド部に搭載されてるって聞くし、HEADでも使われるって噂あるし、そして何よりラケットマイスターでは日本人プロが続々とグリップに仕込んでる、となれば、効果は既にお墨付きという事、貼っとけばその内どっかで恩恵受けられるだろうか。
ただ、FLAXって自分で両面テープ用意して貼らなきゃいけない点、接地面が粗いから？ただの両面テープで貼っても打ってる内に剥がれてくる点、表面がベタついててオムニの砂とか付きそうな点が問題として残る。
ちなみに両面テープはグリップ先端のバウムクーヘンしかり色々試した結果、今のところクレーはナイスタックを採用してます。
バウムクーヘンはこの普通のタイプで十分でしたが・・・いや、最近十分じゃないな、そしてFLAXも接着イマイチなので今度青色の強めのタイプ試す予定。
