今年は縁あってストリンガーのアルバイトをするようになりまして、ぼちぼちと活動しておりました。
大学生以来なので9年振りぐらいのバイト、、、感想としては、予想以上に～～～緊張した日々だった(笑)
いやはや、大学生の頃はいったいどんな気持ちでバイトしてたんだ？ってぐらいプレッシャー・・・思ったよりストリンギングが難しく感じて。
自分の家で自分の張るのは良いんスけどねぇ。
30のおっさんがいきなりエネルギッシュ溢れる新環境に！ってのも中々勇気いるし、
あとめっちゃ思ってるのが…
最近のラケットってなんか張り難くなってない？
普段日頃メジャーなラケットに触れてないせいか？
正確に言うと張り方がやけに指定されるというか、自由度が無いっていうか。
10年前辺り、自分がバイトってた頃だと初代ピュアアエロなんかが代表的だよね。
空気抵抗減らす為にストリングがフレームから出ないようなグロメットになってたんだけど、出た頃は張り方間違えてストリングが露出してる！って話が多発してたよね。
あれほど極端ではないけど、最近のラケットのグロメットって幅が場所によって狭かったり、激浅ウーファーっぽい溝が用意されてたり、謎の模様があったり、ってのが多数派に思える。
どれも張り慣れてないラケットしか無いとはいえ、こんなに張りで悩んだ記憶は学生の頃には無かったはずなんだよなぁ。
昔は特に何も考えずに張ってたのか！？笑
ラケットもそうだけどストリングも…最近の流行は滑るナイロン？
トアルソンのバイロジXX、ゴーセンのラクシア、ヨネックスのレクシス、、、
バイロジXXが出た時はナイロンの新時代だと思ったけど、滑るマルチがこんなにも出てくると、怖いのが張り中に滑る事だよね。
30代のおっさんは失敗しちゃわないかどうかビクビクしちゃうね。
本職からすればこの程度の悩みなんてお茶の子さいさいなのかねぇ。
ただラケット、ストリング両面で張り辛さはやっぱり上がってるんじゃないですかね。
いや、O3出始めとかジグザとかの頃とか、なんならラケットが折れ易いって言われてた時代の方が難易度高いのかも？
とまあ、思った以上の戦いとなったストリンガーのアルバイトの１年、たぶん来年もお呼び頂ける？
これからどうなっていくか、色々変わっていく年頃ではありますが、本職以外でこういう活躍の場があるのは刺激的。
この勢いで張り人！JRSA！・・・なんて事はありえないでしょうが笑、来年もまた面白い事ができたら良いなと思ってます。
