今日は町田の大会に出てきました。
自身２度目の３セットマッチの大会。
強い相手に対し毎度受け身になって飲み込まれる展開が多かったので、今回は積極的に仕掛け、自分のテニスに巻き込む事を意識。
肩の力を抜いて精度を高めてサーブ＆ボレーで奇襲し2-0、初っ端からキープとブレイクに成功。
今までネットプレーは一切取り組みませんでしたが、強そうな相手にあまりにも上手くいっちゃったので油断して調子に乗ってしまったか・・・
3ゲーム目のサービスゲームはフォルト連発で落とし
4ゲーム目のリターンゲームはストロークのタイミングが合わず、その上ボレーも決められ落とし
そんなこんなでサーブもストロークも修正するのが遅れて2-6。
今までの傾向からいつもストロークのタイミング合っていないのに、何故いきなりサーブ＆ボレーから始めたのか・・・一見成功だけど自分にも奇襲である。
2セット目は反省してベースラインでストロークの調子を安定させようとしたがミスが目立ってまた2-6。
厳しいボールにファインプレーがたまに来ると思いきや、何でもない球は平気でミス、いつものような自分お得意の中身の無いテニスですよ。
とにかくこちらからミス、ミス、ミスで点が取れず。
つまらないミスもあれば相手の上手い配球に引っかかってまんまとやられるミスもあった。
最近腕が上がっているような気がしたから今度こそは大きめの大会でも勝てるかもと思いましたが・・・。
予想以上に自分のテニスが雑、対応が遅れたものの修正しようとしましたが点が取れず。
結構頑張ったつもりなんだけどなぁ・・・自分は勝てるレベルでは無かった。がっかり。
