この前の大会後、先輩に乗っけて頂いて地元のサービスエリアへ。
わざわざ高速に乗って帰宅、むしろ勢いに乗ってそのまま本州横断・・・という訳ではなく、高速の外にも駐車場があるので地元民の我々はそこから入場。
海老名と言えばやたらとサービスエリアの事を言われますが、当然地元に住む僕は高速で海老名ＳＡに立ち寄った事は今年まで一度もありませんでした。
ちなみに今年達成した高速側からの初デビューは、ＧＷの広島旅行からの帰りの夜行バスでした。(初めての夜行バスは揺れで全然寝れず、この時意識が朦朧としてました・・・ 
)
上りのＳＡの方はなんかこんな感じにド派手になった時に何度か外から見物しに行ってましたが、下り側のＳＡは行った事がありませんでした。
そしたら下り側もこの力の入れ様。
海老名ＳＡに馴染みが無い僕としては上り側でさえもどんだけ豪華にしてんの！？って感じでしたが、これ、サービスエリア・・・？
この海老名らしかぬ賑い様、前にも僕似たような光景見ましたよ、開店し立てのららぽーとで！！
もうレベル上げ過ぎて映画館、ビナウォーク、ららぽーとに続く海老名の名所になりかねない勢いじゃないですか。
・・・って、もしや既にそういう扱い？
名物だという海老名メロンパンも頂きました。
有名だったんですねメロンパン、しかも下り限定？
あの豪華な上りには名物を譲らないスタイル、どうやら海老名のＳＡは上り下りの間で熾烈なライバル関係がある様子・・・？
しかも海老名メロンパンと一緒に北海道メロンパンも売るという、13万人の市ＶＳ500万人規模の道で勝負させる大胆不敵なブランド戦略。
めっちゃ強気だな海老名！！ 
ららぽーと、ＳＡと、着々進化を遂げていく海老名・・・どんどん凄くなっていくなぁ。
