日曜日、やってきたのは横浜のダンロップインドアテニススクール根岸。
春のテニス祭りでゴンちゃん根岸に現る！！
という事でスクールの真仁田コーチ・竹内コーチのレッスン、ダンロップさんによるラケットの試打会と一緒にゴンちゃんもレッスンを請け負って参加したのでした。
午後の部はスクール生の部で、午前はゴンちゃんのチャンネルやダンロップさんの応募枠。
目線合わせろや・・・
チームゴンちゃんの一部も午前の部に紛れ込んでました。
まだゴンちゃんのレッスン始まってないけどついついフライング。
シゴかれに来ちゃいましたよテニスジャンキー達。
今回のスリクソンの目玉はＶシリーズ。
もう最近はめっきり新作ラケットをチェックしなくなっちゃった私。
最後にスリクソンのラケットを打ったのは２代前のだった気がする。
前作のまっ黄色のＶ３．０は触った記憶も無い。
Ｖシリーズは確かスロートの溝によって喰い付き感を出していて、よくあるピュアドラ系でありながらちゃんと個性が出ているラケット、だったはず。
でも記憶だと溝を除けばシャフトの形は普通のラウンドだったと思うのですが、今回のＣＶ３．０は随分と角張っていてまるでボックスみたい。
Ｖエナジーシャフト２にバージョンアップとの事ですが、今まで何世代も普通めのラウンド形状のシャフトだったＶシリーズがここにきて大きく変えてきた。
従来のＶエナジーシャフトに加えてボックスに近い形状となると当然よりホールド感が高まり、打球感はピュアドラから離れて行く。
似たような形状だったらいつまでもスリクソン版ピュアドラと呼ばれるでしょうから、これぐらい尖ればもう別ジャンル、唯一無二のＶシリーズと呼んでも差し支えないのでは。
一方で特徴的なシャフトになった分スピン系のアエロの方にジャンルが近付いているようにも見えますが、アエロのアエロモジューラー２は空気抵抗を減らす為のシャフト。(正直剛性によってボールの飛びにも影響してそうですが)
新ＣＶ３．０のシャフトは特徴がありながらも割とコンパクトめ、シャフトの目的からしてそんなに被ってないように思えます。
これだけ大胆に喰い付き感を増したラケット、打ってみると生きたボールが走る。良いですね。
厚ラケでかつホールド時間も長いからよく飛んで、回転もかかってくれる。
似たようなジャンルのエスマと比べてフレームはしっかりしてるような気がする。
シャフトがスマートなおかげか。
一緒に出てきた緑のＶラケ、ＣＶ３．０Ｆ。色は好き。
ぶっちゃけどうなのこれって皆思うと思います。
だってシャフトが普通じゃないですか。
溝があるからＶシリーズだろうに、これは果たしてＶと呼んでいいのだろうか？
シャフトを普通に・・・いや、しっかりさせた分、フェイス部分に溝を作って打球感を柔らかくしようとしているらしいですが、溝は結構小さく本当に効果があるのか見た目だけだと少し不安になる。
これならピュアドラでいいじゃん・・・って言われそうだけど、溝付きの黄色いＶラケと一緒に出るからこそ自分の打ちたいボールが決まっていればあまり迷わずラケットを選ぶ事ができるかと思います。
ある程度共通のテクノロジーがありながらも黄色はシャフト、緑はフェイスでしなりを出していてハッキリとタイプが分かれている。
見た目はそっくりでも別物のラケット。
打ってみると綺麗なフラットショットが伸びていく。良いですね。
僕はラリーをつなげようとするとすぐアウトするので勝手にスピンがかかってくれそうな黄色を使うべきなのでしょうが、打った球は緑の方が好み。
ついついロマンを追い求めてしまうぜ。
今までスリクソンのラケットはラウンドのＶもボックスのＸも同じテクノロジーを順番に追加していったのを新作とするイメージ・・・他のメーカーも殆どそんな感じですね。
今回のＶは先発のＣＸシリーズの目玉のピークシフターフレームを緑でも黄色でも使っていないようで、共通のテクノロジーを載せるのではなくラケットの目的に合った独自の進化をしているように見える。
こういうところからピュアドラとかアエロみたいにラケットの人気の流れを変えるモンスターラケットが生まれるのではないでしょうか。
ＣＶ５．０。
こういうのって男性がターゲットから外れた軽量デカラケと思われそうですが、代々５．０は３．０よりシャフトが薄い。そうだったはず。
厚ラケジャンルでありながらシャフトが薄いとなればラケットはしなる。よりコントロール重視となる。
プロの使用者が多い３．０の方でもこれぐらい薄かったら更にピュアドラから離れて凄い喰い付き！ってアピールできそう。
これの１００インチがあったらもっと使う人増えるのではないだろうか。
最新作では無いけどＣＸ２．０。
こっちもうろ覚えで形状はずっと普通のボックスだと思っていましたが、このシリーズから内側が高くなるように傾斜が付いたそうです。
これでボールの飛びが良くなるそう。
Ｘ系は見た目からしてシンプルなボックスで信頼できそうだし前々から評判良いっぽいしでもう少し保守的なものだと思っていましたが、これもまた良い進化だと思う。やはりボックスは大好き。
今まで気になっていたけど打つ機会の無かった、軽量、シャフトはボックス、フェイスはラウンドのＣＺシリーズ。
ボックスのコントロールとフェイスの反発力の良いとこ取り、やっぱどっちの性能も欲しいよね。
でもＣＶもＣＸも良かったけど、僕にはＣＺはちょっとイマイチだった。
打球時の安定感を高める為にシャフトの間隔を拡げているとの事でしたが、もう少し正面厚が太い方が自分は好み。
ついでに横ももう少し薄いと良いなと思う。
パワーは欲しいけどボックスで厚いと今度は振り抜きとかが気になる。言い出すとキリが無いね。
午前の部が終わった後もコート解放で試打し放題。
段々参加者が少なくなってくる中、自然と始まるシングルス形式(笑)
そして隣のコートでは特に予定は立てられてなかったけどいつの間にかゴンちゃんが参上、参加者に付きっ切りで熱心にアドバイス。
レッスンをするだけでなく自らやってくるゴンちゃん。熱心よね。
ゴンちゃんが午後の部もフル回転でラリーする一方、チームゴンちゃんは外のコートを借りて更に練習。
イベントで結構しごかれたのに更にテニスジャンキーしちゃう。
場面がどう見てもプールですけど間違いなくテニスコートへ向かう最中です。
ダンロップインドアテニススクール根岸は横浜プールセンターと同じ敷地内なのですぐそこがプール。
