この土日は楽天オープンの予選に行ってきました。
楽天オープンと言えばトアルソン。
真っ先に向かうはコートではなくトアルソン。
例年なら毎回オープン前に到着する勢いでしたが（えぇ・・・
今年は前日の仕事がちょっと遅くなってしまったので起きれず、止むを得ず一番乗りを遅刻（？）
毎年色んなウェアを大振る舞いしちゃうトアルソンだけど今年は更に凄いぞ。
中古ラケットまで揃えてるから今日から君も気軽にトアルソン！
ラケットは流石に予選２日間で売り切れちゃってるかも・・・？だってびっくりだもんありゃ。
トアルソンのyoutubeチャンネル見た皆さんはもうご存知ですよね。
限定シャツが半袖・長袖共に販売、しかも種類が豊富。
僕が手に持ってるシャツもよく見ると文字が違います。
僕が着てるのはKOBE JAPANで既に一般販売中の物ですが、楽天オープンではNEW YORKとTOKYOバージョンが登場！芸が細かい・・・！
そして過去のウェアも相変わらずとんでもない価格でセールしてたのでついつい初日は５枚購入。
一度お金を降ろしにコンビニへ行く羽目に。
さあ生まれ変わった有明コロシアムだ。
今年はジョコビッチが来るって話でしたからね！
意気込んで準決勝とかの良い席を取ろうとしたけどあえなく全敗。
取れたのはATPサンデーのSS席ぐらい・・・。
予選も良いけど本戦もがっつり見たいなぁ。
例年より遅く来ちゃったけど一試合目の内山君とスティーブ・ジョンソンの試合は間に合いました。
最近見る度に内山さんの活躍を目の当たりにできて嬉しいぞ。
ストロークやサーブにパワーがあるだけじゃなくて、よく走り回るし、よく粘れるし、良いよねぇ。
スルッとかわすサーブもあるのも良いよね。
ジョンソンが割とバックを避けて内山君がバックのストローク多めって感じだったけどしっかり打てる。
オールラウンドってやつかな。
他のコートは配置ごと変わっちゃったのか？
プロの練習を見たいと思って移動したら早速迷いつつ、なんとか流れ着く。
プラクティスコートに行くには試合をやってるコート1の受付ゲートを通らなきゃいけないのね。
そしてかなりの人だかりで練習が見えない。
ちゃんと見れるコートも2面並んでるところの側面のみ・
・・
とっても見にくい、とは思ったけど、そう言えば前の楽天だとコートサイドへの入口から封鎖されてたからもっと見づらかったんだっけ。
午前中はジョコビッチが練習していたらしいけど僕が来た頃には既にいなかった。
ダニエルと杉田さんがいたけど全然見れないので泣く泣く撤収。
今回の有明でまず目についたのがこちらですよね。
楽天カードアリーナ。
ATP500らしい立派な会場の雰囲気が出てきましたね。
前まではコロシアム以外の試合は仮設感ばりばりだったし・・・
とても良さそうじゃないですか。
ちょっと座る位置焦って手摺りが邪魔な所に陣取ってしまいましたが・・・
アリーナでは綿貫陽介とポピリンの試合を観戦。
陽介君は98年生まれでポピリンは99年生まれ。
どっちも華奢で威力あるフォアとサーブが印象的。似たようなタイプ？
やっぱフォアで攻めるタイプは華があって好き。
陽介君はちょっとプレーが大人しくなった？
と思いきや終盤の気合いは見ているこちらも奮い立ってくる。
ただ、ポピリンはサーブが最後まで強く隙が出なかった・・・
というかセカンド打ってる？ダブルファーフトしてない？？
昨年はあのメドベーゼフが予選から出ながらも大出世した訳だけど、そういうのがありえるのがまたあったりするのだろうか。
ポピリンはどうなんだろ、サーブと積極的に攻めるストロークがかなりストロングポイントに思えるけど、ランクが上の選手はそれをもいなしてしまうのだろうか。
