また寝不足の2週間が始まりました。
本日（月曜日）のレッスンが昼過ぎからだったので徹夜覚悟でテレビ観戦をしてました。
まずは錦織圭。
1回戦の相手は地元フランスのジャンビエ。
ランキングも300位台でチャレンジャーが主戦場の選手。
当然錦織圭からしたら見たこともない選手です。
このジャンビエが素晴らしいテニスを見せてくれました。
素晴らしいというか単純にバカ打ちをしていただけなのですが…
失うものは何もないというのはこういう事なのでしょうか？
本当に気持ちいいくらいにサービス、ストロークを打っていました。
結果的には錦織圭がストレート勝ち。
要所要所をしっかりも閉めたとてもいい試合でした。
久しぶりのグランドスラムで1回戦がストレート勝ち、いい感じですね！
そして次に見た試合は西岡対ベルダスコ。
お互いにレフティのハードヒッター。
しかしならがポイントの獲得パターンは西岡が柔らかい感じでベルダスコは硬い感じ？
対称的なテニスの打ち合いは見ていてとても面白かったです。
4セット目にベルダスコが転倒。
足首をひねったようでここでもうダメかなと思ったのですがここからベルダスコは引かないテニスを展開。
フォアハンドの強打をリスクを覚悟の上に繰り返してました。
振り回されながらもショートクロスは中ロブを使って対抗してましたがリードしていたファイナルセットで足が痙攣。
サーブ打てなくなり動きも鈍くなる…
最終的には全く動けなくなりベルダスコのサービスエースで決着となりました。
とてもとても残念な敗戦…
でもお互いにベストを尽くした試合は見ていてとても気持ちが良かったです。
西岡は今はランキングを落としてはいますが、ここまで戦えるレベルに戻ってきました。
まだ苦労することは多いと思いますが頑張って欲しいです。
そして素晴らしいテニスをしたベルダスコの今後にも期待したいです！
