事件が起こった。
打っていたらプツッ！と嫌な音。
まだ３回しか使ってないのにもうハイパーＧが切れてしまったのか、というか自分がポリを切るのかとビビったものの、ガットは特に異常無し。
でもガットが切れる音以外に考えられないなと思いつつ、音の正体は不明のままとりあえずテニス続行。
で、何気なくメイン２本を触っていたら緩い。
自分の張りが下手になったのかと疑ったものの、編み込んだ２本が波打っているのはいくらなんでもおかしい。
となるとさっきの音の正体は・・・ＴＣＴグロメットでした。
前に張り中に真ん中から４本目が陥没した事があったけど、まさかのテニス中に２度目。
こちらのグロメット、使い始めてまだ半年未満。
そういえば陥没している様子よく見た事無かったなと思って外してみたら貫通してるし。
前の経験でてっきり1.10mmのツアーバイトという例外そうなポリには弱いのかなとは思ったけど、今回の貫通は1.25mmで普通の太さのハイパーＧ。
それが打っている最中に陥没してガットが緩々に・・・急にテンション落ちてフレームに悪そうなので切りました。
エラストマースロートには浅めの傷が付いただけだったけど、こんな様子を見たら流石に使う気になれない。

でも一応2013年の発売時から100Tを使っている自分としては打って貫通は初めてのケース。
ここまで致命的に脆いのなら３年間の内にそういう話がショップとかメーカーらだけのクローズな範囲だけじゃなくてオープンに出てくるべき話だと思うのだけれど。
シャークもブラックも同じの搭載しているから数はそこそこあるからもっと情報があっても良いはず。
ググッても出てこないって事はやはり運の悪いレアケースか、でも２例目は嫌だな・・・。
ツアーバイトもハイパーＧも結構鋭いガットだから・・・？というのも考えられそうだけど、だったらプリンスのツアーＸＳをＴＣＴグロメットに張ったらどうなるのやら。
仕方ないのでスロート部分のグロメットは旧パーツに換装。
ぶっちゃけ硬い打球感の方が好きだし、エラストマーが黒い子のフレームに食い込んでたからちょっとどうかとは思ってたし・・・。
でもこんな事があるとスピードポートの方も大丈夫なのか流石に不安になっちゃうぜ。
ハイパーＧも硬過ぎで弾力性もイマイチだったんでデビルスピンに回帰。
