酷い量のスパムコメントでブログランキングが１位という珍事が起きてましたが、ようやく落ちてきて何よりです。
さてさて、自分はEXO3グラファイトしか買わないつもりですけど、たまには別のラケットを打ってみると意外と合っているんじゃないかと思うラケットと出会える事も少なくありませんでした。
以前は積極的に試打できる環境にいましたが社会人になってから新作ラケットは全然打っていませんし調べてもいません。
でもちょっとぐらいは見聞きして、テニスショップでチラっと見たりして道具の進化というものをぼけーっと眺めていたりはします。
この前、プリンスがファントムなる尖ったラケットを出すという話を聞いて今年のナンバーワンラケットになるんじゃないかと、買う気は無いけど感じました。
自分のアバウトな知識ではファントムほど変なスペックのラケットは今年は出ていないはず・・・あそこまでしなりに特化したラケットはそうそう無いでしょう。
そういう訳で、今年の後半に出るファントムに対して前半の、現時点での今年を代表するベストなラケットをランキング形式で挙げてみようと思ったのです。
今までのテニスの経験を総動員してズバリ僕が予想するよ！打ってないけど！
現時点で一番人気ありそうだと僕が勝手に思っているラケット第１位は、ウィルソンのバーンＦＳＴシリーズ。
薄くて硬い、攻撃に特化したラケット。凄くヤバそう。
薄いフレームはしなってコントロール重視になると思うんだけど、頑張って硬くしちゃったら、高速スイングとスピードボールの両立ってズルく欲張りでしょう。
ついでにシャフトも細いけど、硬さとしなりがどんなバランスになっているのだろう。
打ってないから知らないけど、こういう尖ったラケットは凄く気になります。買わないけど。
そんな感じの好みなので、プロスタッフ97Sも気になる存在で第２位だと思います。
ただし、このラケットはやたらトップヘビーであることが強調されているような。
バランスぐらいリードテープ数グラムだけ貼って好きな感じにすればいいじゃんと思うのですが。
プロスタッフ97系はパワーを高めたのに一部を除いてケブラーとダブルブレイド製法でコントロール重視のフィーリングも譲らない、凄く嬉しいラケットです。
なのに97LSが例外で、パワーとコントロールにスピンを加えるだけでいいのにダブルブレイド製法を外すのは勿体無いと思ってました。
で、97Sはダブルブレイド製法でしたが厚さが19.5m。
なんだかただの薄ラケに戻ってないか？厚くなったからこその新プロスタッフと思っていましたが。
それともラウンドとボックスのハーフなフレームでパワー性は十分なのだろうか。
打つ機会が無いので分かりませんが。
とまあ、ここまで１位２位がウィルソンしか挙がらず、では３位は何だ？って考えると・・・またウィルソンでウルトラになるだろうか。
ヨネックスのＶコアデュアルＧも、ボックスフレームで良さそうだが話を聞いている限りだと粘りっ気が濃過ぎて使いこなすの難しそう。
重い球は打ちたいとは思うのですが。
あとはメジャーどころで今年出たのはスリクソンのＶ３．０系か。
でもウルトラとＶ３．０、同じ厚ラケタイプで僕が見比べてしまうと、厚いのに飛びを抑えたっていうそのバランスでウルトラの方に興味を惹かれてしまう。
そういえばヘッドもラジカルとプレステージが出ていたけど、大胆な変化は無かったのでついつい忘れていた。悪い事じゃないですけどね。
でもこの中から使い易いラケットを選べと言われたらラジカルを選びたい。
ＸＴのは打った事無いけど。
今回はＲＥＶとＭＰＡではストリングパターン選べるし、好きに使えるとしたらＲＥＶに錘貼って好きなバランス弄れそうだし、これが自分の中のランキングの第３位だろうか。
プレステージの方は16×16が用意されなかったのが残念である。
もっと言えばプリンスはファントムを発表したけどＥＳＰモデルが全然出ていないのも少々悲しい。
使いこなしてみたいです、スピン系のストリングパターン。
