グランドスラムの本戦に出て、世界ランク１００位を切って、いつの間にか対戦相手と聞くのがロペス、モンフィス、フリッツ、セッピ。
前は添田選手が、伊藤選手が先に１００位を切って、下の世代の西岡選手やダニエル太郎選手が注目を浴びて、しかしとうとうそんなレベルに上り詰めたのかと思うと感慨深い。
昨年の大会の動画ですが、世界に挑む杉田選手の熱いテニスをまた生で見たくなってくる。
勝った時の雄叫び、ハイタッチ、ホント格好良いプロだと思う。
