最近の僕はもう仕事終わりはヘトヘトで、とてもじゃないけど運動とかをする体力はそんなに残ってない・・・大変じゃない？仕事後にテニスとか、資格の勉強とか・・・。
しかしこの日は頑張って東京のとある所までやってきた。
ぶっちゃけ移動でヘトヘト。
板橋って聞いててっきり新橋の仲間かな？じゃあそんなに遠くないかなとか思っちゃって最初こそ快く行くって返事しちゃったんですけど、よく見たら全然別の場所じゃないですか！！！！！
海老名から遠くて大変だねってよく言われるクレーですが、今まであんまり海老名が東京から遠いってイメージは無かったんですよね。
新宿に小田急１本で行けるじゃないですか、横浜も１本じゃないですか、どこへでも行ける！Ｉ ｌｏｖｅ ＥＢＩＮＡ！！！
そんな感じでゴンちゃんのレッスンも特に考えず飛びつきましたが・・・うん！遠いね！(笑)
それでも新橋なら横浜から北上すればいいだけだし行けるんじゃん！って、仕事帰りでも全然行けるって思ってたら板橋って東京の北・・・隣は埼玉・・・
いや待ってくれよ、皆が待っているんだぜ？強くなりたいんだぜ？じゃあ行くしかねーＹＯ！？
いざ、新高島駅と間違えないように新高島平駅へ！
という事でチームゴンちゃん、またもや参上！(地獄のレッスン前・・・)
レッスンは１ヶ月に２回ぐらいのペースって話だったような気がするけど、もはや毎週会ってるね。
こちらは板橋区にあるTPPトレーニングスタジオ。
最初の写真を見ての通りテニススクールではあるのですが、TPPはフットワークと体力の強化を指導しているテニス専門のフィジカルトレーニングスタジオ。
今回、チームゴンちゃんのスペシャルアドバイザーをTPPの田中歩武コーチに務めて頂いております。
田中コーチは現在中国の王選手(WTA最高44位)の専属トレーナーとして大会に帯同し世界を飛び回っている他、これまで鈴木貴男選手や藤原里華選手など多くのプロを指導した実績を持っているのがTPP。
フィジカルトレーニングと聞くと僕が思い浮かべるのは器具を使った筋トレ。
大学時代はやたらと大学のジム通ってとりあえず効果がありそうな物を手探りで考えて腕の筋肉の強化に勤しんだものです。
が、今回僕らがお邪魔した場所は腕力を鍛えるようなトレーニングマシンが見当たらないではありませんか。
こんな感じの所でレッスンを受けました。
マシンは一切使いませんでしたね。
脚、とにかく脚。
ゴンちゃんレッスン第１回目の時も田中コーチが来て下さいましてウォーミングアップでTPP流を受けましたが、今回は１時間半たっぷりフィジカルトレーニング。
テニス目的なのにラケットを持たない、ボールを打たないトレーニングを１時間半もやった事って僕は無いです。
というか筋トレも全然やってないです。
ジム通おうかなと思ったけど、思っただけで実行に移してませんね。
その時点でイカンのね。
そして今回のTPPのトレーニングは腕力ではなくフットワーク。
前回ゴンちゃんに見て頂いて貰った指摘では、自分はミスを少なくする為にフットワークを磨くべきとの事。
ミスを減らす為に何をするか、というところで自分は今までフットワークを改善点として考えた事はあまりありませんでした。
まず打ち方が目につくというか。
確かに自分を見ていてフットワークはドタバタしていて不恰好。
小刻みに脚使うべき、でもプロって結構ゆったりした動きで打点に入ってるように見える、大股でやってみるかとか、それぐらい。
自分の試合を結構撮ってる割には打ち方とかミスの種類ばっかりでドタバタフットワークをどうするかって今までちゃんとやってこなかったのは失敗だったなと今更思う。
今回田中コーチのレッスンをみっちり受けて、これはフットワークでミス減るわってかなり分かった気がします。
脚で出来る事が増えた気がするぞ。
身体能力には自信が無い自分。
若さ漲る高校生の時は右手の握力３０ｋｇ、５０ｍ走は８秒？９秒？背も無いしパワーヒッターにはなれないね・・・いつも脳筋バカ打ちテニスだけど。
TPPのトレーニングは筋力的なところに重点を置くのではなく、スピード、柔軟性等を含めて全体的なパフォーマンスを高めていく。
こういうトレーニングをやった経験は勿論自分はゼロ。
ゼロから強化ってなるとこれからどんどん出来る事が増えるって事よね。
またもや新しいテニスができると思えたレッスンでした。ありがとうございます。
そんな濃密なレッスンを受けてTPPを出たのが２３時を割と過ぎたぐらい。
TPPは新高島平駅、高島平駅のどちらからでも凄く近くにありアクセスは良好。
でも２３時からの海老名への終電となると・・・？
というかですね、今まで全然鍛えなかった足回りを濃密にしごいて、悲鳴を上げた身体と共に疲れた～って海老名まで戻るのが面倒臭いな～って思うじゃないですか。
そもそもゴンちゃんのレッスンを初めて受けた体験の日の時点で終電逃して海老名まで辿り着けませんでしたし、はたしてそこまで無理して海老名に帰る必要があるのか？そんなに終電に怯えてていいのか・・・？
って思ったので今回は終電諦めました。
駒込駅で降りてスーパー銭湯のあるカプセルホテルに泊まりました。
カプセルホテル初体験でした。思ったより色々設備があるし広いしで快適。
良い感じのプライベート空間じゃないですか。
でっかい銭湯もあるのでのんびり湯船に浸かって、夜中でもお食事コーナーやってるから一服して、カプセルでごろーっとして、鍛えられた脚をゆっくり休める事ができました。
テニスの為に動いて、こういう初めての事も経験する。楽しいですし嬉しい。
でもまあ、まさか東京で泊まるとは・・・一応神奈川隣なのに・・・。
まだチーム始まって序盤の内から早速使ってしまったよこの手。
カプセルホテルとはいえ、流石に連発したらキツくなるだろうな。
しかしこれもテニスの為よ。出来る限り全力行っちゃうよ。
ちなみに途中で別れた、終電は無事に間に合うであろう都内組。
ゴンちゃん含めて彼らも何故か終電を捨てて焼肉食べてたらしいです。
