最近のストロークはコンパクトだと聞きますが、ふとロビン・ソダーリングやレイトン・ヒューイットのフォアハンドを見てみるとテイクバックが大きくて何だか格好良い。
自分のフォアハンドは昔からヘナヘナで縮こまっている何だか微妙なフォームでして、今回もこの二選手から影響を受けてまたフォームの改造に着手する事にしました。
ラケットの時点で流行に逆らってますがフォームも逆行します。
ゆったりダイナミックなテイクバックで、強打すると見せかけてそこそこ脱力して振る・・・
いざ実践してみると少しでも速いボールに上手くアジャストできない、テイクバックを大袈裟にするだけで疲れるし、そもそもでっかく構え過ぎてついつい力んだりして散々。
しかしいかにも打つぞって気迫の感じるでっかいフォームが重い球打てそうで諦めずにはいられない。
もう少し深めに守ったりしてもう少し挑戦してみたいと思います。
ロビン・ソダーリングと言えば、彼の名前のメーカーのポリストリングが売っているらしいですね。
・・・何だか力強そうなショット打てそうなポリだなぁ、プロフォーカスはちょっと柔らか過ぎな気がするなぁ、気になるなぁ。
何だかここ最近、複数揃えられるラケットにしたい→試作品だけど100に回帰、ナチュラルにしたい→クリップのレジェンド購入と、ちょくちょく有言実行しちゃっていますが、今回はたぶん買わない・・・と思う。
ソダーリングポリはまだ深くは調べていないけど、次のクロスのハイブリッドは今度こそ信頼と実績のデビルスピンにすると思います。
メインナチュラルと真っ向勝負させてやろうじゃないの。
今のプロトタイプのメインのノッチは全然進行してないからまだ先だと思うけど。
