駅前や観光地がいくら賑やかでも自分にとって京都は京都。
地元のような愛着が沸く
にはもっと年月が必要なのだろう。
外でも家でもずっと一人というのは不安だ。慣れない。寂しい・・・
でも、お前らがいれば俺は何処でだってやっていけるぜ！！
休日、京都だろうと俺はテニスをするぞ。
・・・と言いたいところだが天気予報は雨。
ですのである所にお出かけ。
駅のすぐそこに大きな鳥居はまさに京都。
どこか歩くだけで京都感が出てくるのではないか。
目的地へ歩いているととても趣のある建物を発見。
近代化産業遺産となっている松本酒造の本社。
この地域は古くから酒造が盛んだったらしい。
京都と言えば神社・お寺が真っ先に浮かぶがこんな場所もしっかり残っているのだ。
そうこうして到着した目的地で早速僕はラケットを握る。
大きな建物の中に縦に分割されたコート。
ネットの向こうには対戦相手、ではなくボールマシン。
ちなみにコートサーフェスはオムニ、奥行きもあるし実戦の雰囲気は十分。
ここなら雨だろうと一人だろうと関係無い。
そう、今回僕が駆け込んだのはアプローチ京都店。
インドアのオートテニス場を持つテニスショップです。
この日の天気がずっと悪い予報、申し込んでいたサークルの練習も中止だろうと危惧したクレーはテニス熱に駆られるままにアプローチさんへやってきました。
室内にオートテニス場を持つテニスショップなんてそうそうあるものでもなく、設備も予想以上に凄い。
スピードやスピン量、打球の高低等を設定して好きなボールを制限時間までいくらでも打つ事ができます。
球出し感覚も調整できるので２０分だけでもガッツリやれて満足です。
そして流石はテニスショップ、試打ラケットも大量に用意しているので新作を試し放題。
ラケット選びの難しさというのは実際に打ってみないと分からない、という点ですが、アプローチさんならその場で打てる。
テニスショップとしてこれ以上ないサービスだと思います。
駅から少し距離はありますが、それでも朝から客足が多かったように感じます。
この天気なので自分は前日にオートテニスの予約をしましたが、当日来てみると予想通りやる前もやった後も利用者が絶え間なく来ていました。
皆考える事は一緒か。
他にもアプローチさんはオートテニスのマシンだったり、ストリングマシンも店内に揃えているという凄いお店。

本日のテニスを終えた帰りは、駅前の鳥居をくぐった先にある桃山天満宮、御香宮神社に寄りました。
また、最寄り駅の伏見桃山、桃山御陵前、桃山はその名の通り伏見桃山稜の目の前。
そんな街を訪れた休日でした。
・・・これで休日のテニス終了と思ってのんびりしていましたが、午後になると雨が止み、慌てて京都のテニスサークルの練習へ参加。
午後も3時間みっちりとテニス、テニスまみれの休日となりました。
どんな所でもテニスができるとなると自然と気持ちが上がる。
テニスをさせてもらえる環境に感謝である。
