杉田祐一プロは高1の冬の日本リーグで初めて見て、当時プロ選手を全然知らない自分は衝撃を受けて、こういうテニスをしたい真似したいって初めて思った憧れの選手で…言葉がまとまらないから割愛
関口周一プロは地元が海老名市！年齢は1個違い！当時使ってたラケットが同じEXO3グラファイト！
こんなにも身近に感じれるプロがいてびっくらこいて、初めて生で見たのはいつの楽天オープンだったかな、2010年だったか11年だったか、予選ワイルドカードを貰ってて練習している姿だったか。
はぁ、、、
自分が高校生の頃からのヒーローで、同じ時を過ごして、活躍を見届けて………えっ！？もう引退？？？もうそういう年齢なの？
そりゃいつかは引退するだろうけど、てっきり添田プロみたいにみんなレベル維持したまま大ベテランになるまでやるものかと…
自分の過ごした、熱中した、若者だった時代がいよいよ終わりと宣告されたかのようで、、、
