この前試合して頂いた佐藤翔吾さんがyoutuberを始めましたね。
ゴンちゃんチックなものよりも試合の動画がメインになるらしいです。
こうして試合の動画見ると、ああ、このスピード感、やはり僕の時は実力を引き出せなかったなと思いながらも、強打に対して防御的、カウンター的なプレースタイルは変わらない。
この動画の対戦相手の秋本選手は日本リーグに出場しているＪＲ北海道の実業団選手。
最近は日本ランキング１４９位で最高は７８位、２年前には全日本の予選に出場しているらしい。
僕の印象だと強い人ってこっちの球を平気でぶっ叩いてきて初球からエース狙ってくるとか、そんなのばっか。
動画見る限り、ボールのパワーでは相手がかなり強い。
それに振り落とされず深いボールやスライスで返し続けるのは、反射神経なのか、読みなのか。
その気になれば１８０ｋｍ／ｈ近いサーブも打てるとの事ですが、このボールのスピードで佐藤さんは確かに戦っている。
自分は脳筋ゴリ押しバコラーですが、まあ市民大会レベルでもストロークで打ち抜けず粘られて負けるのがいつものパターン。
速いボールこそが強さを最も正確に表すバロメータだとずっと思ってきた。
でも実際はボールの速さが絶対的正義という訳では無いらしい。
速いボール打ち返すの苦手、もうマトモにやり合える気がしないけど、やりようはあるって事か。
次の市民大会の本戦の相手は凄い威力の球を打ってくる人なので、手も足も出ずに惨敗するか、それとも俺にも足掻く術があるのか、動画を見る今日この頃です。
