ウィルソンのスピンツアーが外れて落胆したのも束の間、ウィンザーさんの聖蹟桜ヶ丘店でトラックマンの計測会が開かれるというので行ってきました。
半面の試打コーナーで自分のラケットと好きなラケットを打ち比べ、ウィンザーさんがカウンセリングしてくれるというもの。
トラックマンの実際の数値に基づいたカウンセリングを是非ご体感してくださいという事で意気揚々と参加させて頂きました。
TX222Pを６本買っておいて何ですが、やはり本当にプロストックが優れているのかどうか確かめてみたいところ。
今回試打に選んだラケットはグラファイト100XR、ファントム100XR-J、Ｓマッハツアー300。
そして試打結果を踏まえてウィンザーさんが提案したファントムプロ100XRも計測した。
どれもミクロスーパー16張り上げに対し、僕のラケットはTX222Pの縦レジェンドと横プロフォーカスという最初から勝つ気満々の組み合わせ。フレームで勝負しろや。
どうせなら当日張り上げして計測してもらおうかとも思いましたが、打ち比べるには流石にセコ過ぎる気がしたのでそれは止めた。
試打結果がこちら。
スピン量が各ラケットでバラ付きがありますが、最初の方TX222Pとグラファイト100XRの時はボールが速いせいでスピンを全然計測できない、との事でした。フラットマンな可能性もありそうだけど
たぶんコートが半面だからなのでしょうか。聞きそびれてしまいましたが。
その後のラケットは何球か速度を落としてスピン量を計測。
ですのでＳマッハとファントムプロは計測できなかったボールでもっとスピンかかっている、と思う。
平均速度もスピン量計測の為に落とした打球が計算に入っている。
自分で記録を取っておいたので、スピード落としたのを除いて速度トップ１０で平均を再計算したところ、
TX222P 130.6km/h
グラファイト100XR 133.4km/h
ファントム100XR 129.2km/h
Ｓマッハツアー300 133.7km/h
ファントムプロ 133.6km/h
となりました。
まあ結果として、計測できたスピン量は３６RPM差でプロストックが勝利！
ボールの平均速度も市販品に負けても誤差程度しかない！
・・・うーん、プロスト品質のフレームとナチュラル張っていてこの結果はイカンでしょ(笑)
TX222Pは推定330gの27.5インチ、フェアウェイを外して軽量化してもこの重さというスペック。
確かに315gのグラファイト100XR、310gのファントム、305gのファントムプロ、300gのSマッハと比べるとスイングスピードという点では不利。
でもそれでミクロスーパーに差を付けられないのはちょっとどうなんだろ。
ウィンザーさんからは「数値的に問題ない」「強い拘りを感じる」「今のラケットでもいけると思います」とお褒めの言葉を頂きましたが、市販品に同じ張りしたらTX222P負けちゃいますね、はい。
コントロール性の高いフレームばかりだし、何より重量も(TX222Pより)軽めだからダメージも少ない、となると、全般的に市販品の方が有利・・・？
フォロー入れるなら、プロストックはスイングスピードの差を品質とストリングでカバーできてる、長ラケだからサーブなら有利、とか・・・？
・ツアーグラファイト100XR
一番平均速度が高かったのがこちら。
今まで使ったEXO3タイプと比べるとフレームがより角ばった打球感に感じる。
でも硬いラケットも僕好きですし、柔らかいプロストックと速度が変わらないならこっちでもいいような。
ちなみにこのラケットで自分の最高速度139km/hを計測した。プロストックの方じゃないんかい！
・ファントム100XR
薄いシャフトからは想像できない安心感のある打ち心地。
何といえば良いのか、シャフトに力を感じる。
自分としては一番可能性があるフレームだと思いましたが数値は振るわず。
僕の感覚大丈夫なのかな。
・Ｓマッハツアー300
とうとう出会えたＳマッハ。
ピュアドラチックな厚いフレームながら撓りを持つトアルソンの新型。
プロストックに太刀打ちできる逸材かもと思い試打させて貰いました。
ピュアドラであればカーンとなるところを、Ｓマッハは打ってみるとフェイスがグニャッとなる。
なるほど、こいつは別格だ。
このフィーリングがあればピュアドラより器用にプレーできるのではないだろうか。
スプーンは打った事無いけど、スプーンっぽさを感じた。
でも打球速度は薄ラケ達と大して変わらず・・・？
特にファントムプロとの差が少ないのはどうなのか。
・ファントムプロ
ウィンザーさんが提案したモデル。
こっちの方も好きですけど僕はO3派。
O3と比べるとやはり硬質ではあるものの好成績を記録。
トラディッショナルホールである分、O3系よりスピードが出る。
ウィンザーさんのオススメはグラファイト100XRとファントムプロで、どちらも非O3タイプとなった。
かくして、「わがままを言ってください。ここは専門店なんですから」というウィンザーさんで思いっきりラケットを試させて頂き、色んな気付きを得る事ができました。
僕はTX222Pよりファントムプロにフェデ張りした方が良いとかね！
でも世の中には普通に軽いプロストックもあると聞きますし、そういうラケットで試したらまた違う結果になるかもしれませんね。
