この前凄く驚いたのですが、全日本見に行った母校の後輩達がゴンちゃんと写真を撮って貰っていました。
今時の若者はyoutubeをよく見ていると噂では聞いていましたが、マジか、まさか高校生がバッタリ出会っても顔がちゃんと分かるぐらいにテニスのゴンちゃんを見ていたとは。
ゴンちゃん知っているのもそうですし、皆で全日本見に行ったり、まさか彼らがそこまでテニスにお熱という事も自分にとっては驚きというか、いや、そうであるのは嬉しい限りなんですが。
そんなやる気に満ち溢れる後輩達も見ているゴンちゃん、高校大学と全国で戦ってきたトップレベルのプレーを気軽に見る事ができて、しかも本人が解説してくれるなんて良い時代だなぁと思います。
まあ僕が高校生の時もyoutubeありましたけどね。
もはやニッチな趣味じゃないのね。
再生回数やコメントの数を思うに、テニスの普及とレベルの底上げへの貢献は相当なものじゃないでしょうか。
