今年ですね、折り畳み自転車買ったんですよ。
近所への交通手段はもっぱら原付なんですけど、これは旅行で使えたらいいなって思って・・・気付いたらもう今年終わるじゃん。
旅行で使うどころかこれ乗ったのまだ２回ぐらいなんですよ。
テニス行く時に原付が動かなくなって慌てて出したの１回、同じ日にちょっと買い物に使ったの１回・・・
もはや何の為に買ったのか謎になりつつあるヴァクセンのBA-100さんはずっと部屋に畳んで輪行袋に入れたまま。
で、それをようやく本来やりたかった目的の為に使おうとしたのが先週の話なんですよ。
折り畳み自転車で輪行旅。
ちょっと群馬まで電車で行って、そっから自転車使おうかなと。
でもこの日は夜にテニスの予定を入れていたので、群馬でサイクリングを満喫するにはとにかく早く電車に乗って目的地に辿り着かなくてはならない。
そもそも遠方へ旅行と地元でテニスは両立しないだろ！って感じだけど、ほら、突然どうしても遠くへ行きたくなる事ってあるじゃないですか、うん・・・。
テニスの予定があったけど僕は我慢できなかったのです。えへへ。
そんな訳で時間的な制約を受けながら突っ走るのですが、思った事が一つ。
まず新宿に着いたのは良いものの、次の電車へ乗る為の乗り換え時間は8分・・・時間10分すら貰えないんですか。
小田急から埼京線、普段使わないこの駅の構内を、自転車を持って8分以内で乗り換える・・・無理じゃないですかこれ。
しかも事もあろうにですよ、どこにあるか知らない埼京線の乗り場は一番奥でしたし。
海老名から乗った時点で先頭車両に乗り込み、新宿着いてから必死で急ぎ、何とか一発目の乗り換えには成功・・・。
ちなみに乗り換えを１本でも逃すと次の電車での到着時間は１時間後。
サイクリングを楽しむ為には１本たりともミスは許されない・・・
ちなみにその後に待ち受けていた乗り換え時間は5分、2分、10分、6分。
今からしてみれば新宿駅よりは確実に乗り換え先が近いのでそこまで危機的では無かったですけど、どこも迂闊にもぐもぐタイムできない緊迫した乗り換え旅だったぜ。
海老名から３時間半、乗り換えに無事全て成功し目的地の最寄り駅に到着。
群馬の渋川駅、ここから伊香保温泉へ向かおうと思います。
聞くところによると伊香保温泉ではペヤング祭りなるものがあるらしいじゃないですか。
大胆にぺヤングのペイントをしたケーブルカーとかね。
会社の昼飯ですらペヤングを起用する僕ですよ、行かない手は無いじゃないですか。
前に日記でペヤングマン名乗ったしね。・・・という割に最近食べてるのは激辛とのハーフ＆ハーフのみで冒険は一切してませんが。
とまあ、はい、今回輪行しようと思ったのはそれが理由、それだけでした。
とりあえずペヤングケーブルカー見れれば満足、でもこれだけ早く着いたのだからケーブルカーに乗るも良し、温泉に浸かるのも良し、食べ歩きだってできるぞ！
そしてまずは駅からおよそ８ｋｍの道のりのサイクリングを楽しむ！
海老名に帰れば夜はテニス！巻いたばかりのオームスのプロレザーを早く試したい！
とにかくワクワクに満ち溢れながらこの自転車での初の輪行旅、第一歩目のペダルを漕ぎ始めるのでした。
