ラケットをスノワートに替え、その次はテニスシューズもチェンジ。
ここ数年はずっとニューバランスを履いてましたが、ミズノの新型のウェーブエクシードツアー４へ。
トアルソンがミズノのシューズを取り扱い始めた時から買おうかどうか何度か迷ってましたが、まあ、とうとうと言いますか、去年は全然上手くいかなかったし、色々変えていきたいなと思って。
あ、あと大学生の頃にも１度考えましたね、インテンスツアーの初代が出た時。
バイトしていたショップは地域柄かソフトテニスやバドミントンの方がテニスより活気があったので、取り扱うシューズは殆どヨネックスとミズノ。
インテンスツアーが出て、ミズノは硬式にも力入れ始めるのかな？みたいな雰囲気を感じたので、ショップも軟式の色が強い事ですし、よっしゃ俺が硬式にミズノの風を吹き込んでみようか～なんて思ったりもしたんですよ。
力を入れだしたのはもっと後かな？
なんだかミズノのオールコート用も珍しいなと思った記憶があるけど・・・流石に当時でもオールコート用はインテンスツアー以外にもあっただろうな。
でもこの頃って、～２０１３年頃ぐらいまでは硬式でミズノはいていたら軟式っぽいって一目で思う時代だったな自分の周りでは。
確か当時購入を考えてたのはオールコート用で、結局買ったのはアシックスのゲルレゾリューションの３だったか。
どっちも硬めで横移動に強いタイプ、ストロークが強くなるって触れ込みに惚れて買ったんだったな。僕はネットプレーできないし（笑）
てな訳で僕のシューズ選びは大学生の頃はハード系、社会人になっても好みはそのままでニューバランスのMC906。
MC996／906シリーズは一応はバランス型って立ち位置だけど、２代目と３代目、そして現行品はハイカットまでいかないまでも全体的に分厚く、安定感がある。でもそこまで硬くは無い。
この見た目で軽さをアピールポイントにしているって言うんですからね、確かに実際はそこまで重くない。
青い３代目MC906を使っていたのが2017年で、2018年は写真奥で見切れてる白いMC100、そしてオールコート用のMC190。
MC190/100シリーズは軽さに特化したシリーズで、とにかく体力の消耗を少なくしたいと思って選んだんですけど、今度はサポート力が足らな過ぎて心許無い。
18年はJOPにも乗り込んだしゴンちゃんレッスンもあったし勝負の年だと思っていたので、いかに消耗を減らせるかって事でオムニ用もオールコート用も買って・・・って感じ。
ただ終盤から疲れてきて、なんか上手くいかない・・・ってなってきたのでMC906に戻ったりして、19年に赤色のフレッシュフォームラブ。
これはMC996の派生って事で良いのかな・・・？フィット感が更に凄くなって、インソールもとても柔らかかった。
で、最近はまたMC190/100に戻っていたところでした。
なんだかフレッシュフォームラブやMC996の包み込む感じで足がちょっとダルく感じて・・・
MC190らはそのダルさから解放されるけど、解放され過ぎ？
じゃあシューズに何を求めてるんだって話ですけども。
とまあ、迷っていたところでウェーブエクシードツアーの新型。
うふふ、このカラーは実は海外展開モデル・・・（笑）鳥さんが飛んでます。
最近流行りの９０年代オマージュのデザインで全豪モデル、らしいです。
日本展開カラーがうーん・・・って感じだったので、こっちを見つけてしまってらつい（笑）
ツアー３も好きなデザイン多かったんですけど、選んじゃいましたね～最新型。
という事で今日早速履いてみました、使った感想一日目は・・・特に無いかな（ぇ
なんだろ、普通に良い靴だけど、文句が無い？違和感が無い？
MC906だったら安定感ある！フレッシューフォームラブはフィット感と粘りがすげぇ！MC100は軽っ！ちょっと不安じゃない？
とか１回目で個性を感じられたものですが、この靴は・・・ウリは軽さと安定感の両立、でしたっけ。
確かに両方グッドだと思いますが・・・
ニューバランスのシューズ達はアウトソールが１枚でこれが自分の好みの安定感に繋がっていたと思う一方で、ミズノのシューズ（その他メーカーも殆どですが）は土踏まずのところで分かれている。
その土踏まずの部分に何かパーツをくっ付けて強度を持たせようとする訳ですが、今までの印象だと自分は断然１枚派。
で、今回このエクシードツアーは・・・１枚じゃないけど特に不安を感じないぞ。安定している。
軽さで言えばMC190/100に近いようですが、ツアーモデルを名乗るだけあって安定感が違う。
かと言ってMC906のような包まれ方、圧迫感でもない。
まあニューバランスもそれらの要素が良い！って感じる事もあるのですが、エクシードツアー４は尖った個性というか、不満点も特に思い浮かばない。
そういうのを感じさせないってのも自分の身体に馴染んでいるって事で良い点なのかな。
