今年も楽天オープン行ってきました。
有明には東レ以来２週間振り。
朝９時に着きましたがブースはどこも開いておらず、練習コートでも誰も練習していませんでした・・・(そりゃそうだ)
トアルソンのブースでローチェウェアを購入。
置いている店が少ないのでこんなに買えて大満足。
これでようやく大会にローチェウェアで出る準備が整ったぞ。
ダニエルコラボＴシャツも昨年に引き続き第二弾が出ていて、どうしようか迷った挙句に結局購入。
デビルスピンシャツもあったので４年近く愛用している弟用に(笑)
プリンスブースで試打＆スピードガンコーナーがあると聞いて、もう新作とか他のラケットを打つ機会が全然無いものですからついつい参加。
アレな物をメインにしちゃっている自分ですが軽くて硬い素材も気になりますし・・・。
テキストリームグラファイトとＯ３ファントムを初試打。
まあ、グラファイトヨークと極薄シャフトの真価は激しい打ち合いの中でこそ出てくるものなのでオンコートじゃないと何とも言えませんが・・・
Ｏ３ファントムは自分が思っていたより意外とシャープ。
プリンスの方に聞いてみると、どうやらＯ３ポートをグロメットレスに戻して打球感のダイレクトさ向上を目指したらしい。
ＥＸＯ３ではなく何故昔のＯ３型を今更復活させたのかと思っていましたが、好打球感を売りとするテキストリームだからこそ、昔以上にバンパーもグロメットレス。

うーむ、Ｏ３と最薄シャフトにばっかり目を奪われてしまっていた。
そんな話を聞くと自分のＯ３も今すぐＴＣＴグロメットを外してダイレクトにボールを感じたくなってくる・・・と思ったけど、そもそもクロスが真っ直ぐ通らなくなりそうだから無理か。
あとラケット軽くて少し不安でした・・・変なの使っているせいで毒されてしまったか・・・。
ちなみにスピードガンはフォアで130km/h。一発だけ出ました。本当かよ。
予選前の練習でサンティランと綿貫陽介＆敬介コンビ、ゴファンとポシュピシルを見学。
コートの後ろで見たくてついついすぐ空いている席に行っちゃったんですけど、最近天気ずっと悪かった癖にこの日は陽射しが強くて堪らなかったです。
一方、向こう側のコートエンド席はモロ日陰・・・あっちで見れば良かったなぁ。
その後１２時に予選のサンティラン対ステパネク。
ガンガン打つサンティランに対しステパネクはスローテンポ。
フォアのクロスは見事に持っていき、ドロップはポンッと当てるだけ。
スライスも回転が少なめで、シュッと切るサンティランとは対照的なプレーを見ることができました。
ドロップやらスライスやら回転かけている場面をプロの試合でよく目にするのですが、そうか、そういうのもアリか、って感じです。
昨日の試合で流れ変えようとスライス回転のドロップ打ったらサービスライン手前に落としてしまったので、特に・・・(笑)
