４本目のラケットにはフェアウェイのレザーではなく、余っていたEXO3プログリップを巻きました。
EXO3グラファイト100Tに付いていたやつで、購入当初すぐにレザーに交換した記憶。
数年経ってようやく出番が来ました。
これでなんとか３３０ｇ以内に収まりました。
でもこのラケット達は標準装備がレザーではなくシンセティックグリップでしたので、軽量化と言うより元に戻ったというのが正しいような・・・。
センサー外して20.2gダウン、グリップ変えて7gダウン、これでも重く感じるようならもう他に軽くする方法が無いのでグラファイターできない・・・。
最初は重さなんかよりセンサーで時代を先取りすべき！ってスタンスでしたが、やはり人間には振れる重さの限度があると思いました。
いくらラケットが自慢でも自分に合ってなきゃね・・・ちゃんとグラファイターしたいなー・・・。
今年は身の丈に合わない大会で散々な目に遭ってもっと真面目にやらないとダメだと痛感したので、レザーへの拘りは捨てます！
と言ってもラケットやガットは変えまくってもレザーだけは使い続けたこの手のひら、いざシンセティックグリップをガチで使ってみると違和感ＭＡＸ。
太さが変わったから？イメージより硬い？カドが気になる？
とにかく出てくる色んな違和感・・・
操作性についても軽くなったおかげで良くはなったと思うのですがボールとのタイミングが合わなくてガシャ打ち連発。
当たりも弱く感じてボールに力が加わらなくなった気がする。
最近は今シーズン終わりの気分なのでテニスの頻度落ちているとはいえ、操作性は上がったはずなのに予想以上に打てない。
でも軽くしないと格上についていけないと思うので、違和感抱えたままシンセティックグリップ４本もう注文してしまいました。
気が付いたらEXO3プログリップは廃盤になっていました。
今回は余っていたからこれでしたが、選ぶんだったら名前の時点でこれですね(笑)
あと、ニューバランスのグローバルサイトにMC996の新型が出ていました。
この前ウィンザーさんで売っているのを見たのですが日本のホームページに紹介一切無し。
カタログも無し。ポップにも特徴の紹介無し。
